Mini flower press

This is a nice looking, easy to use, and does a good job pressing flowers. It does take longer for the flowers to be ready than it specifies, so plan on leaving your flowers in the press for a couple of weeks unless they are already very thin to start with. If you are patient, you will be rewarded with perfectly pressed and preserved flowers. It's so much better than using the wax paper and book method!

This will work better than my usual stacking books. With the velcro straps its much easier than the other type of having to screw and unscrew 4 screws each time you want to open/close it!

Instructions are a bit confusing. Will update review in a few days once I see how well the product performed.

I used this all the time! Great for beginners to flower pressing! It's small size makes it easy to store especially when your just starting out exploring this craft!

love using this! i put things in the press, chuck it somewhere dark, & soon my flowers are all nice!

Big hit as a birthday gift.

I used this mini plant/flower press to capture some of the native flowers blooming in my yard. The third photo shows how thin the pressed flower became after having it in the press for 3 days (inside “eco bag” which is a heavier duty ziploc bag). Although the flower looks 3D in the second photo, it’s actually paper thin! All of these flowers were in the press at the same time and are all just as dry and paper thin! The straps worked great, but I also set mine under a 15lb object for about 1 day because I am impatient. This is not necessary. These photos were taken almost immediately after taking them out of the press, so I don’t know how long the colors will last. However, these specimens turned out better than I could have imagined! Because plants contain some moisture and the press is kept in the eco bag, the cardboard between the foam and parchment paper absorbs some of this moisture. I plan to let the cardboards dry out for a few days before I use the press again so that they are fully hardened. Furthermore, you could easily replenish the parchment paper squares at home by cutting wax paper or parchment paper to size. The outer boards of the press are smooth and quality wood in my opinion. This is the perfect gift for someone who likes hiking, nature, or wildlife. You can easily take this lightweight press in a backpack or tote bag. This is my first time writing an Amazon review, I was moved to do so by both the value and the quality of this item. I am imPRESSed.

I bought this because I thought it would be easier than the flower press i have with screws. Im not sure yet if it works ok, but after one use the straps have chipped the veneer.
