I've suffered from tinnitus for almost 2 years now, and I heard this supplement can help if the tinnitus is due to low blood flow, which I believe is what I have, since I'm usually dehydrated from all the medications I take. I found out pretty quick that I can't take this everyday. When I do take it for my tinnitus, I take a half tab, twice a day. I was taking a full tab with breakfast for about a week until I noticed my sleep metrics were very off. I, normally, have a resting heart rate of 55-58. During this week it was up to the high 60's. This supplement definitely has a stimulant effect. I shared it with a few friends and they confirmed that effect. My advice: take it slow. Tablets break easily.

I was hoping I might be part of a lucky minority that sometimes benefits from using vinpocetine for reduction of tinnitus symptoms. I took 10 mg 3x per day with meals for a month. I had no reduction in the volume, tone, or anything else I associate with tinnitus. If anything my attention towards the symptoms make it seem worse. Not holding out for any difference at this point with egb761 ginko, but will try it. Then maybe combine it with the vinpocetine. Disappointed, but not surprised.

I’ve had Covid related braid fog and Vinpocetine has helped. It’s an anti-inflammatory so it helps the inflammation that can cause brain fog. I recently read an article where brain fog was looked at by doctors who scanned the brain looking for a cause of the brain fog. They found it’s the cerebral fluid that swells and puts pressure on the brain. For me, this helps with the brain fog. I don’t know if it will help anyone else
