I’ve hade mind 8 months now and wear it daily it has not tarnished yet. I don’t get my jewelry wet and don’t put it through wear & tear. It’s ready for a cleaning so that will be the big test.It will either shine like the day I bought it or it will turn so this will be the big test to see if the 925 stamp is true to its word .

I want this miabella solid 925 sterling silver italian 3.5mm diamond cut cuban link curb chain necklace in 18"?

Thank you for your inquiry. The 18 inch will be available by the 1st week of March.

It's a sterling silver chain, and very much worth the money. Have bought in the past, and the gift recipients have always been happy.

is the black pad a wipe for the chain? also if it is how and if it isnt, why is it there?

The black pad is not a polishing cloth. It's an anti-tarnishing strip that incorporates 3M Tarni-Shield technology, designed to prevent discoloration and inhibit tarnishing caused by oxidation. Jewlers and jewelry manufacturers often place these pads in the bags holding 925 sterling silver & fine 999 silver jewelry being sold. They also work for gold, copper and brass metals.
