Sony Computer Entertainment PS Vita 32GB Memory Card

I know many of you out there feel like this item may be over priced but its not so bad considering Sony want's to secure their investment. It all comes down to patients and saving your money. Also make use of Amazon's trade in offers. I traded in my college anatomy book for $100 bucks and got this for $84 bucks and still had money to spare. When I first got my vita which was on the day it offically launched (and my birthday!) I started off with the 8 gig that came bundled with the 3G model. A few days after I got the 16 gig which I had found online for $39.99. I've downloaded about 5 vita games and 8 psp games and so far I have been quite happy with my purchase. Once school got out for the semester I figured it was time to upgrade and get something bigger so I got this and it came in 2 days for free thanks to prime. I know it may seem like Sony is trying to get over but they aren't doing so well as a whole now a days. They put out some high quality products yet they don't get the same recognition that companies like apple gets, and apple is a ripoff. Seriously their new IPad isn't even close to the vita spec wise yet its more then twice the price. They didn't even really upgrade from the previous tablet outside of the retina display and yet they still charge you super premium prices for their lackluster technology. If you like the playstation brand and have or plan on getting the vita later on down the road then I would highly recommend this memory card for those would plan on going more digital. If you think your gonna buy more physical disk then the 4 or 8 gig will suit you just fine

where to start i got this as a back up for my phone i will say its for vita but you can use it as a hard drive or for your tablet or whatever. the thing here is quality as this type of sony card does not have the same issues as some of the lesser brand no data loss (and as a gamer if you get to lvl 9999 after 6 months and your file gets corrupted you know your gonna kill somebody) so do us all a favor and spend the extra 1 dollar and get name brand that actually is worth the price. while cheap its not cheaply made i am rather rough on my'n and have never had a single issue even used it as a external hard driving running tiny core lunax for about a month (another words i abused the thing) and it works perfect. the other nice thing is sony normally gives actual size NOT pre-format size furthermore you are more likely to get a actual 32 gig stick not a 27.9 or 26.3 or whatever stick as they are more quality controlled my stick was 33.4 gigs (after format) cant beat that

(NOTE IN ADVANCE: Most sellers will be sending you a Korean branded card. This is not a bad thing, they are legitimate Sony cards and will work as well as ones from Japan or the US) I purchased this memory card for my Playstation TV system as a replacement for the bundled 8GB card, following about 5 months of play and purchasing around 10 games for my system (this ranged from physical Vita cards to digital download titles, as well as a PSP download title and a PSOne Classic). I really love my PSTV and wanted to ensure I wouldn't need to buy another card for it anytime soon, so I went for the 32GB card as opposed to another 8GB card or a 16GB card. Transferring data and re-downloading games to the new card from my old one took around three or so hours. There's a ton of space on this thing, so the typical system owner should be fairly well set with it. I must stress, however, that this is if you're planning on buying physical games. Digital Vita games can be 3GB in size or larger, and that's not including the patches some of these games come with (Example: Senran Kagura Estival Versus is a 3.08GB download, with an additional 2GB patch for performance improvements and additional content). If you plan on going all-digital, a 64GB card, while even more expensive, may be the better option for you. But for someone like me who favors physical games over digital purchases, the 32GB card is exactly what I need. Cost me the price of a retail PS4 game, but it'll be worth it in the long run.

Just what I needed for going all digital. Has plenty of room for all my downloads. Eventually I know I'll hit the max, so I'll have to remove some games on it, but its not a big deal at all. People have been saying that it takes longer to load games and such. Yeah it does. Will it kill you? No. A second or two isn't going to kill your vita experience. Besides, when I had the cartridge version of uncharted, every time I turned on vita, it paused to say installing for 4-5 seconds every time i booted up the system anyways. About the pricing: Yeah the memory cards are expensive. Yeah Sony is using a proprietary format so you have to use theirs. If its a big deal, get the smaller size. Sony lost money for every ps3 unit sold. Here, vita costs $160 (parts) to make plus all their other manufacture costs and retailer cuts. Sony is barely making any from the hardware. So they are recooping in accessories. This memory card, the cradle, screen protectors and all the other accessories. It's either they sell the vita for $349 (and then people would be crying about that cost) and no one buys it or they sell it cheaper and charge more elsewhere. There's nothing to complain about. They offer a free online service unlike microsoft and they put out amazing exclusives. Give them a break. Games on my card: Touch my Katamari BlazBlue Unit 13 Lumines Electronic Symphony Motorstorm RC Super Stardust Delta and some psp games No problems with load times. Used to have Rayman and Uncharted on carts. No huge difference.

Ever since most hand held devices came out, it was easy to buy a simple memory card from your local computer store (Office Depot, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc.) and instantly have your own memory card and then transfer it to your PC with no problem. Pictures, moves, games, comics, music, anything that the hand held device could read, you just simply plugged into the PC, copy it over, and then back to your hand held device and done. This is not the case with this device. Sony got smart and designed a completely NEW memory card specifically for the PS Vita. Based on the design, there's no device that can read it from your PC except a direct connection from the PS Vita itself. Sadly, no matter what it is, you can't read it through your PC. (Guessing because they are using another format which the PC can't read) The only way you can transfer stuff to your PS Vita is a program from the Playstation website, which is more of a docking station. It will instantly transfer the items (Images, movies, etc.) to it's proper location and will be read later when you unplug the system from your PC and use the proper program to view your items you transferred. Now, with that said. You may as well get this memory card. Mainly since the 4, 8, & 16 gigs are going to fill up very fast. (Not to say a 32 gig won't either, just not as quickly) Since games range between 10 Megs to 2 gigs or higher, you're not going to be able to hold much on this memory, especially if you had a 4, 8, or 16 gig card. This is truly the only option to be able to save your games, pictures, movies, etc. In a way, this is the only way to go. Just be ready to pay a hefty price for it. Overall, it's a good memory card. I was able to transfer my stuff from PSP to my PS Vita with little effort and all the games play well. Everything works and works fast on this card. Personally you should get the biggest memory card you can since games are getting bigger by size. It's a good buy and you may as well go all the way and get the highest memory.

I don't know why there are so many negative reviews, maybe it's just some angry kids who are pissed because mommy wouldn't purchase it for them? Whatever their problem is, it has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of this memory. I bought this memory for my launch PS Vita and it works perfectly, I have been downloading PSN games without having to worry about how much space I have left, which is exactly what I wanted. Highly recommended for anyone who is planning on taking advantage of what PSN has to offer. These memory cards are incredibly tiny, so I would hate to be swapping them, which is why I wanted to get a big memory card right off the bat. The price might be a little high, but it is well worth it if you are going to be downloading games. IMO, the price is more reasonable than the 16GB memory card since you are getting twice as much memory for $40 (the 16GB retails for $60), which is a good deal when you consider the fact that big flash memory cards usually sell for over twice as much as memory cards half their size.

These people are buying this version and then insulting sony. Why are you buying the most expensive memory and complaining about the price? This is not out of the ordinary pricing either. A 16GB iphone is $199.99 and a 32GB iphone is $299.99. That is $100 for 16GB more and we never complained about that! Twice the memory and the same price and everyone is going crazy. Just take the 8GB card and put your game saves on it. No one is forcing you to buy 32GB of memory. Some of these people leaving feedback do not even buy this or the vita so they have no right being on a review section. As for the people who do have the vita, take a look at what you are holding. The amount of technology in this device is more than any other hand held in the market and is clearly expensive to make. If sony threw in a lot of memory for free they would lose memory. They already did everyone a favor by throwing in that free 8GB. Stop being so ungrateful and narrow minded and think about it a little. It is a good deal, it is cheaper than iphone memory, and the vita is extremely fun. Not mention that games on PSN are cheaper than the hard copies so the card will eventually pay itself off. If you are really that crazy about the easily avoidable cost, then go buy a 3DS because the Playstation community will not miss you.

If you are looking for a great way to store your playstation games look no further. With the PS Vitas exceptional backwards compatible catalog you will definitely need the storage, and that isn't even considering the still increasing PS Vita library. It isn't the biggest memory card (the 64 is, but those are apparently prone to failure) and because they are proprietary they are pretty pricey, but you will need a memory card and this is easily the best for your buck.

中古品ということで、ちゃんと認識するか不安でしたが、問題なく認識しました。 商品の紹介に、汚れがあると書かれていましたが、届いた商品はとても綺麗でした。また、商品が届くのも、予定よりも早く届き、とても嬉しいです。 ※注意点 VITA内部に保存していたセーブデータは、メモリーカードを差すと、全てなくなっていました。一度VITAの電源を切り、メモリーカードを抜き、再度VITAの電源を入れてセーブデータを確認しましたが、全てなくなっているようです。商品が不良品というわけではなく、VITAとメモリーカードの仕様のようなので、メモリーカードを指す前にVITA内部のセーブデータをバックアップする方法を調べてバックアップを取るようにしてください。

Does what it is supposed to do - stores games! Couldnt justify the price for the 64GB version, which I have read is more prone to malfunctions also. This is more than enough space, especially as the pace of releases continues to slow, unfortunately. The transfer process from my old card was a bit convoluted and involved downloading software from Sony, but worked fine. Look up an online tutorial if you are interested in doing that.

Aunque el tiempo de espera fue considerable, estoy muy satisfecho. Memoria original y el desempeño es excelente. Magnifico tiempo de escritura, no tengo que esperar tanto. 32 gb son excelentes para guardar canciones, videos y sobre todo juegos.

so far so good. previously had a 4gb memory but i knew i would need a bigger memory since i just recently purchased a lot of games and will be purchasing games of the play store in the future. it's expensive but it's needed if you want to play the games and keep your progress. arrived faster than expected, since other places i was looking at took either a month or two to get to where i live and i needed this right away. no issues so far.
