How do I prewash these felts to prepare for appliqué?

can I appliqué this felt to cotton flannel for a quilt?

I can't say for sure. But I think the felt isn't very durable. If you planned on being able to wash the quilt, I would say no.

What is the percentage of wool and what is the polyester content?

Not at all. Because it is a blend there are no raw edges that will fray. This brand is great.
