Becca Cosmetics Backlight Targeted Colour Corrector Papaya

This is a great corrector to counteract my dark under eye circles. I apply it prior to applying my concealer and I find that I don't need to use as much concealer (which helps my concealer last longer...win!). The Becca corrector applies smoothly and a little goes a VERY long way, which means that it will last a long time. I use a very small brush to apply it onto the areas that are the darkest around my eyes during my morning makeup routine and it stays put all day.

So, every time I fall in love with a makeup product the manufacturer discontinued it. I’m pretty sure this one didn’t prove me wrong since I haven’t been able to find it in a store since early 2017. I finally ran out of my last bit of this about a month ago when someone at a beauty supply store suggested Amazon. Thank goodness they had good sense, because it never occurred to me. I usually get this product in the peach shade, but this one was about $40 cheaper. I was concerned my winter skin would be too pale for the intensity of the papaya, but I didn’t notice a difference between the two once my foundation was on. It was just as effective as the peach once blended and didn’t show through my foundation or when using a lighter tinted moisturizer.

This is a great product but I cannot say I'm absolutely in love with it only because this is my first ever color corrector product. The product is not too colorful on the skin as long as you apply a small amount at a time. It blends well with the concealer as long as you blend it well.

This has the consistency of greasy lipstick. It does not pair well with liquid foundation. I cannot imagine using it with powder foundation. It goes on rather dark and is ineffective at color correcting dark circles. Definitely a waste of money.

If you have really dark circles or melasma patches then this is the corrector for my darker skin girls! I have tried many others but I always come back to this one and always have a back up!

I feel like this is so-so. It may be too red for me but it does mix well with other products. You do not need much at all so it will last a long time!

The reddish tint of this corrector is perfect under your regular concealer or under your powder. It’s a cream texture so I feel it smooths out the lines under the eyes as well. Gives your concealer or powder something to sit on much like primer does for the face.

I bought this product and used it for a bout a week and my eyes have itched since. inside and out! I know it was this product because as soon as i stopped using it the itching stopped. I am not sure what is in it because it has no scent or anything. It does do what I intended it for which is cover my dark circles on my eyes. Just be careful of what you put on your face if you haven't used before.
