I have not seen the product marked as bpa free...so how can i be sure it actually is bpa free?

Would this work with plaster of Paris or cement, to make a solid block?

Not sure about cement because of all the different chemicals that go into it but most things should work in it. I got bored and even started making ice in mine for when I'm making drinks and wanna use cracked ice.
