I have worn a hard night guard every single night for years and only decided to purchase this as a back-up in case I lose mine. I figured it was so cheap compared to my custom one (which I paid hundreds of dollars for) that it was worth trying it out.Turns out I love it…even more than my hard one and it is now what I use every night instead.It is so much more comfortable than the hard one.Just a tip for those who may not like a guard on your top teeth…I have always had a bottom one.I find the top one would sort of push out my upper lip and therefore my mouth was kind of forced open. I didn’t like the feeling of sleeping with my mouth open, so I tried it on the bottom and find that it allows me to keep my mouth closed completely and makes for a much more comfortable fit.This soft one can also be fitted for either top or bottom.I was so pleased with this guard that I took advantage of the fact that they will keep your impression and allow you to purchase another at a discounted rate. I figure it is a good idea to have a back-up in case it gets lost.Highly recommend! Great customer service, too.

My dentist recommended I get a mouthguard for night time, because I grind my teeth. I bought an over-the-counter mouth guard, but it was huge, and my teeth hurt in the morning. I really didn't want to pay the $600-700 for a custom mouth guard at the dentist, so I thought I'd try a custom one from Amazon first. I called the company to talk about options, and settled on this slim model. (Joe H. customer service agent was great, BTW). This is exactly what I was looking for! It was VERY easy to make the mold and ship it back, and the mouthguard was delivered quickly (less than two weeks, may have even been a week). It is very slim and comfortable. No more achy teeth in the morning, and I can actually close my mouth completely and sleep comfortably at night. I think this is exactly the same thing you pay $600-700 for at the dentist office. Definitely 5 stars!

I have tried dozens on mouth guard to help me from grinding my teeth at night. No matter how great they say they are, they never work for me. They either don't fit, or don't stay tight or are so large they make my mouth water all night long. These are my salvation. They fit awesome, they are small and the stay flexible. The process to get them is easy...1) order from Amazon, 2) follow the directions to make an impression of your teeth, 3) Send in the impression, 4) a few days later the mouth guard shows up in your mail. Love this product and would HIGHLY recommend.

This night guard is SO much better than my $1000 splint that was made for me by my dentist. I have TMJ and the splint was supposed to keep my teeth separated and prevent clenching/grinding, but I found that by using it, it would throw off my bite even worse than before. This night guard is so thin and soft that it doesn’t throw off my bite at all and still protects my teeth. I know some people have left reviews saying that it wears down quickly, but so far I haven’t experienced that. Maybe I don’t grind my teeth at night and just clench them; I guess I don’t know for sure. But in my opinion this is a great product and is well worth the price!

While this may sound picky to some it's not to me. I am pleased with the quality and comfort of the guard they sent me with one exception. They forgot to fill in the last part of the mold when they made my tooth guard, leaving my last molar unprotected.I sent an email to the manufacturer asking why every other tooth but one was protected by it. Basically I was told I could return it and go through the whole process again which takes about 4 weeks to get the guard back. The part that throws me for a loop is they want the original defective one back first. I am not trying to get an extra one and obviously no one else could use it so why not allow me to keep using the original one so I have protection in the mean time?? I will gladly send the original back once the new one is received. I asked this and never heard anything again from the manufacturer. It would have received 5 stars if customer service was better and they did it right the first time.
