Easycap USB 2.0 Video Tv DVD VHS Audio Capture Adapter

Bought this to transfer some vhs to computer. Hooked it up installed drivers and am using VLC to capture vhs. Works great.

This product is a EasyCap knock off, so you should know that before purchasing. If you have any issues you will not be able to get help from EasyCap support. now that we got that out of the way, I will say that the product is of good quality for a great price. I received the product within a couple of weeks. I wasn't expecting to receive it for at-least a month, so I'm pretty happy about that. I got it working with Windows 10 32Bit and am using it to capture old VHS tapes via a VCR. The software that comes with it will enable you to capture videos but not much else. If you'd like to do some editing and make it look fancy then you'll need to use different capture software. I myself am using pinnacle studio 9 capture software that I had lying around the house. It's over 10 years old but to my surprise it worked with windows 10.

Was able to convert all my VHS videos and even edit some as I needed. Very easy to use.

I am not sure this is what I was looking for. I needed a connection to hook up my computer to my TV so I can watch Net Flix on the big screen.

This product does not work... period. While you can get it to capture video, it will not capture sound. I tried everything in the book on the assumption that I did something wrong but to no avail. The software when I installed it created more problems with my Windows 7 PC and forced me to actually have to reinstall the OS. Only good thing about my purchase is that it was a cheap lesson (all except my time of course). But any price for this product is a ripoff. Even looks like the very same product, costs much more, but you pay for what you get... a product that works.
