There's a Monster in Your Book

Superb!
My toddler absolutely loves these books - we have Monster, Alien, Dragon, Witch and Wolf. All are brilliantly engaging and really allow you to have some fun. Monster was our first one and my daughter loved it so much that we instantly tried Alien, which became a firm but very close favourite. She loves tickling Monster and getting concerned when I tell her that he's not in the book any more but is now in the room somewhere!!I love them all but I have to say my daughter's least favourite (and indeed mine also) is Dragon, as it relies too heavily on 'using your imagination', which although may sound like an odd comment it's a genuine issue, as getting a toddler to 'use their imagination' to solve a situation just doesn't work. The books which focus more on blowing, jiggling, turning, spinning and shouting are far better if your child is as young as mine (2 & 1/2).Overall, you can't wrong with any of them though, great interactive fun, and a real change from 'the norm'. My daughter regular asks for 'Alien' or 'Monster' or 'Witch' or just grabs one and forces me to read it ;)

Adorable, Interactive story that kids (and their parents) will love reading together.
So I’m reviewing another picture book, and I bought this one! Written by Tom Fletcher of McFly fame and illustrated by Greg Abbott this is a short tale of trying to expel a monster from your book. It would be such a fun interactive story to read together because each page prompts another action to try and send him packing. Tickling, tilting, spinning, shouting. The monster is so adorably drawn and the bold use of the primary colours Blue, Yellow and Red with Black and White make the story so vibrant. This is a fairly large hardback book and that would probably be my only criticism because I think the book might be a bit unwieldy for some little arms. The conclusion of the book explores what happens if you manage to get the monster out of your book??? Read to find out.Review originally posted on my blog

Fab for Toddlers
My 2 year old is going to love this book. A wonderful interactive book that's got the perfect amount of writing for a toddlers short attention span. Illustrations are colourful and simple. I love it and would recommend for young children. I can't wait to read it to my daughter.

A hit with a 2 year old.
We have decided to buy one book a month for our 2 year old Grandson rather than overwhelm him at Christmas. This was January’s choice. I read the reviews which were very positive. This book did not disappoint. Our Grandson loves it and enjoys following the instructions in the story. As a former Primary School teacher I would recommend this book as a great way to encourage good listening skills, following instructions and of course a fun way to teach young children that reading is great fun.

Highly recommended 3 year old
My 3 year old bedtime short attention span well generally, have found some books for her age to long, can only get half way before shes off!. Spent a will looking, went off other reviews, as it doesnt give much away and short title, so unsure what to expect but so impressed how clever and so simple my daughter looked at me gone out, when i said the first thing we had to do, but without giving much away by the end the street im sure heard her! she was laughing by the time it had finshed :-) and what I also like is it will help with monsters in the bedroom in future maybe, brilliant would recommend highly lots more fun with this one to come very iterative which I love to.
