What is the weight of the 12" box?

Around 10-15 lbs. Great chair to do low box squats, very sturdy, rock solid. Highly recommend. I also bought 18” chair from them

Where do I select the height of platform I'm interested in?

Amazon should have the sizing fixed shortly, but until that time, if you scroll down to the Product Information section, you will see the item dimensions (L X W X H) . Our apologies...this should be fixed soon.

how wide is the base for the 18" tall version?

The opening is about 16 1/4" x 16 1/4". The outside of the base is 18" x18".
