Why is it saying this-blade material: 1095 carbon steel when it is not true?

I don't know exactly how to answer your question. I checked other places (bladehq, ebay, etc.) and get mixed answers. Most say 1095 and some say 1075. Not sure which is correct. Either way, I really like mine and don't think there is a huge difference either way. I do recommend this knife. Hope this helps in some small way.
