On first look, it did appear a little expensive for a plastic tool set, BUT it is so much more than just a plastic tool set. The saw has a rubbery blade on it, the screwdriver has a softer rubbery tip so no damage or hurt can be done. The tool box is rounded and smooth, no harsh plastic edges. The drill makes a clicking sound too. Can't recommend this product enough. We've brought it for our 1 year old as he loves Daddy's tool kit and he now has his own. Review: Very happy
