Not practical, despite being huge, cannot be filled with much water. Hard to clean.

Far better quality than I expected
I cook daily and have done so for 40+ years and I own a LOT of cookware - All Clad copper core and aluminum non-stick pans, All Clad D3 & D5, Hestan nano and pro bond, Falk, CIA and Mauviel brushed copper. They each have their own specific uses in my kitchen.I wanted a larger steamer/pasta cooker with a pot for general use and saw this set on sale. When it arrived, I was surprised by the weight, build quality and kitchen performance. This is NOT high end All Clad and it's certainly not Hestan or Falk but it sure performs well for steaming seafood, momos, ribs and a wide variety of veggies - it works great. Proof to me that you do NOT have to spend a lot of cash for really decent cookware!

I am quite impressed by this product. Reading many of the other reviews I was concerned about it's quality in comparison to some of my 'true' All-Clad pans. Let me reassure you to worry not! While it isn't the same, I find it to be extremely high quality all the same.I find this to be a very versatile product and a total steal for the price. The first time I used it, I actually steamed broccoli and cauliflower at the same time in the big strainer, while steaming chopped yams in the little strainer. It worked perfectly.Subsequent uses were to make nice quality stock, then soup. I'm super happy with this cooker and recommend it.

Fantastic pot for pasta or small batch brewing
Great pot for large lots of pasta or for brewing small batches of beer. Great quality as i would expect from All-Clad, but not too heavy since it is not 3 or 5 ply, which would be overkill for a pot like this. The handle on the small steamer insert is the only potential weak part, because it is quite flimsy.
