Amazon Basics Wood Wobble Balance Board

As we get older, things like balance become really crucial and need to be developed by the body just like any muscle. And thats where this really good piece of fitness equipment comes in. I actually use this during work calls at home and it has really helped. The first time does feel difficult and off, but the learning curve is really steep and you will be very comfortable in a few minutes. The top is wood with the black sections being grips for the feet. The grip section feels very rough and sandpapery, so you may find fibers getting stuck if you intend to use it with just socks. I didnt have any issues bare feet or wearing footwear (slides/shoes). The bottom is a small rounded piece of plastic which is sturdy and didn't feel like it would break under weight. However, due to the plastic bottom, it is very slippery on tiles/smooth floors. In this cases a carpet or mat is required to ensure it is doesnt slide out from under. Ideally it should have been rubberized to avoid this, but at this price point , can't really complain as a door mat/yoga mat/carpet will resolve this completely.
