It is a little heavy at first glance but it holds well mounted a 40lbs engine and it held well, would attach the mount while boat is semi inflated for easy installment

Works great.
Tried it out on the maiden voyage of my 3 place Intex boat, great mount with the 33lb trolling motor. I installed it when the boat is half inflated making it much easier and tighten things up after finishing inflating the boat. Works great.
