TEKTON 1/2 Inch Drive x 18 mm 6-Point Impact Socket | SID23118

I needed a 21 mm socket for installing the new wheels and tires on my Mustang, so I picked up this TEKTON 1/2-inch drive 6-point impact socket. Performance It worked perfectly with both my impact wrench and torque wrench. The 21 mm size fit the lug nuts properly, and I had no issues installing and tightening everything. Feel/Quality The socket feels solid and well made. The 6-point design gives you good contact on the lug nuts, and it handled the job without any problems. Limitation I haven't found any downside to it. It's a straightforward socket, so there isn't much more to say. Conclusion If you need a 21 mm impact socket, this one did exactly what I needed it to do. I used it to install the new wheels and tires on my Mustang, and it performed perfectly with both my impact wrench and torque wrench.

Carelessness required I spend more money. This was worth it.

This was exactly what I needed for working on a deep set nut when replacing struts on my minivan. Seems sturdy enough and fit the 18mm nut fine.

I like my tools clean and since this socket was going to be kept in my SUV to remove a tire, I really didn't want a coating on my hands just handling the socket. The soot like coating came off with a little cleaner so it wasn't a big deal. Fit tire lug nuts as expected.

Nice addition to my metric set so I don't have to pull one from my imperial set. The marking is great and easy to read. Good deal for the money. All positive thoughts on this one.
