ASTRO HDMI Adapter for PS5

Great things come in small packages. I was having great trouble with my headphones until I got this.It completes the job totally.

Product works perfectly on PS5 and takes seconds to have this up and running and connected to your AV equipment.Had a big issue with mine as it came with no box, no instructions, no HDMI and no power cable, contacted support and didn't even get a reply so had to source the cables myself so more expense on quite a expensive product, disappointing after service.

Compatible with Xbox.. easy to use with Astro A40's great picture.

The adapter is good 8/10 times due to its lack of functionality when playing certain games such as Rainbow Six Siege, The audio and video just cut out, The screen returns but my Audio goes all quiet like 7.1 just vanished, if you are to buy this product, be aware that it can be a little dodgy at some times.

Not really much to write about this, it does exactly as it says on the tin and can't really be used for much else. It's enabling me to keep using my Astro A50's with my PS5. The only think I have picked up which I'm unsure it due to the device itself or the TV but sometimes when I'm using Netflix or Prime it tries to put the TV sound through the headset.

The product does work and takes a few utube searches to get it set up and working but mine failed just after a year of owning it. I don’t know what’s wrong with it but when playing my hdmi doesn’t send the signal through to the screen properly and the screen keeps losing picture mid game. How do I know it’s the Astro adaptor? Well when I bypass the adaptor with the same hdmi lead everything works fine. The adaptor has 100% failed inside somehow.I can’t recommend this product for longevity.

Astro HDMI audio extrectorThe audio extractor works fine for sound but doesnt output 120 hz with my monitor (OMEN X25F),, when i use my ps5 WITHOUT THE EXTRACTOR i get 120hz no problem with my monitor but when i use this it only outputs 60hz, i had to buy a hdmi edid device (evanlak 4k) which is another £20 out my pocket just to get 120hz cause this extractor doesnt work.Update: i got a new monitor LG 27GS93QE but had to return it cause the optical port sounds awful but when i used the audio extractor it worked no problem still giving 1440p 120hz so i guess it only works with certain monitors which is a shame cause the audio is perfect.

Reading a lot about not needed and that but the sound is definitely a lot better with it as if you was running it direct to hdmi a little bit pricey and deffo think Astro should of sent these to people who own a50 /a40 as you pay 300 for the head set but another way for them to make money I guess

Is not working like it should be. My monitor is having black screens a few times per day. It’s very annoying while you’re gaming. If I plug out the hdmi adapter, I don’t have any issues. I would like to hear from you

Uso questo adattatore solo per avere un’uscita ottica dalla PS5, visto che Sony l’ha rimossa, e devo dire che fa esattamente quello che promette. Una volta collegato tra la console e la TV, l’uscita ottica è subito disponibile e funziona alla perfezione.L’ho collegato al mio DAC esterno e l’audio digitale è pulito, senza ritardi o interferenze. Nessun problema di compatibilità, basta solo attivare il formato audio corretto nelle impostazioni della PS5.Se come me hai un impianto audio con ingresso ottico e non vuoi rinunciarci passando alla PS5, questo è l’adattatore giusto.

Does its job.Bought this beacause i went from ps4 to ps5.Could use my headset again on the ps5.Sucks you have to buy this but its better then having to buy a new headset...

Ce produit fait parfaitement son rôle pour ceux qui veulent entendre leurs consoles sans prises optiques. ( PS4 Slim; PS5; Xbox Series S et X; … )Petit point négatif, c'est qu'il faut acheter ce produit en plus d'un mixamp et cela n'est pas précisé sur le site astro.Si vous êtes un streamer et que vous avez un avermedia ou bien elgato, le produit le fais fonctionner a merveille il faut juste le brancher a la sortie du boitier d'acquisition et avant l'écran.Cela reste pour moi et ma compagne un 5 étoiles.
