Overall? Fantastic. Is the camera on par with camera phones? Heck no. BUT, the printer can print photos taken from your phone, and they print really well, surprisingly well! Honestly, I'm more inclined to snap with my phone and print then and there from the Mini Shot. However, you can't deny the fun of snapping with the camera itself, it may not be anywhere near as sharp but it does have a nice retro feel to the photos. The camera UI is super simple, they have done a great job with it to not cram in features and instead focus on the essentials, border / no border, filters, monochrome etc. I think it is a fantastic product for the price.

Don't be mistaken in thinking you can take photos with this. You can't. If you remember early phone photographs or kiddy cameras that's what your looking at. There bad! But as a printer it's ok, it prints well enough from your phone photos. I was looking at a cheaper alternative to the Fujifilm one I have and this is it. It cost £18 ish for 60 photos. So about half the price as it's competition. Canon is that for 40 shots, Fuji that for 20 shots. So it's cheap. Honestly in two mind to return it or not. Can't take photos on it but cheap cartridges to print. Shame the reviews didn't reflect this when I looked.

I bought this camera thinking it seemed like a great idea but I have to say I was completely disappointed and ended up returning it. Firstly, it doesn’t print images like a Polaroid, instead, it prints pictures in 4 goes (3 primary colours + laminate) and the quality when you take the picture with the camera is pretty poor. You are better off buying a printer and make photos with your phone or just buy an actual Polaroid camera. I also had multiple fails at printing pictures and considering how expensive the cartridges are, it’s not great. Finally, the phone app is finicky and doesn’t work every time. Overall, I would recommend you think again before you buy this, as it is very substandard for the price. The only positive is that it is aesthetically pleasing.

I like my gadgets and thought this would be a fun addition to print some pictures and use as an old school instant camera. It’s good but does have its flaws. What I like: - it came with the camera and 3 packs of film which I thought was good value - the fact you can print direct from your smart phone was the major factor that sold me this camera - the prints are ok, they’re a bit of fun but do not expect quality like you get from the machines in boots and supermarkets etc - I like that you can print and take photos - it’s quite compact so easy to travel with - simple enough to charge up - simple enough to download and use the partner app - great fun seeing the picture slide in and out as it develops and laminates What I don’t like: - picture quality and colour reproduction isn’t great - using as a camera can be tricky is the screen is tiny and framing a decent picture can be hit or miss better to take the picture on your phone then print on the Kodak - prints are quite small

My daughter was desperate for the classic "shake it" instant camera but when I looked into how much they cost, and more importantly, how much the film costs, it was a hard no from me. I did lots of research and finally landed on the Kodak Mini Shot 3 but still felt nervous about parting with my money, though I shouldn't have worried. This camera is AMAZING! I think it's important to remember that your satisfaction with this camera will depend on your expectations. I wasn't expecting to get professional photos from it or battery that lasts for days, I simply wanted to fulfil my daughter's wish of being able to print photos straight from the camera. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the camera is, it feels like you've got a "proper" camera and like you've got your money's worth, but it's not bulky and it's easy to carry with the strap that's included. I love the fact you can preview the picture on screen and decide whether or not to print, so you don't waste film on bad photos. I absolutely love the experience of waiting for the picture to print, it takes a few minutes overall but once it's done, it's ready. It's fun seeing the picture pop in and out as it layers the different colours on. The film cartridges are very easy to remove and insert, and I am so happy with how much cheaper they are compared to the big brand. I bought 60 prints for £15 on Amazon which works out 25p per photo. The pictures come out quite clear and I'm very happy with the colours. Don't get me wrong, they're not good enough that you'd use only this camera for important events like weddings but they're really nice keepsakes and have a classic look. I can't comment on the charge because we've only used the camera in the house so far so there's always a charger around. We are going to take it on holiday but I'll just keep a battery pack handy because I can tell the charge won't last for a whole day of memory making. The only negative from me is that the pictures seem to print out slightly off-centre which is annoying when you tried to align it perfectly. But I've found if you hold the camera vertically instead it seems to eliminate the problem, and makes no difference because the pictures are square anyway. Speaking as someone who was stressed about finding the perfect instant print camera, I would 100% recommend this one to anybody.

Very poor product for the money paid. Zero storage so when you turn the camera off, any photos you took disappear - unless you print off immediately. You can also only take one photo at a time which is useless in this day and age. The camera on your phone will be of better quality. The app is useless - just allows you to print photos from your Apple or android photo library - something you can do from your existing phone’s photo reel and on the printer that you likely already own. In short, this is a gimmick camera. Spend your money on a better camera and print the photos using your printer or order them from an online printing service.

I was so excited to get it. But i was surprised when i received it, both the picture quality and the printing quality are very low. The film got stuck while printing and it stopped working.

★☆☆☆☆ Worst Experience Ever – Kodak Mini Shot 3 Retro I bought the Kodak Mini Shot 3 Retro with high expectations, but it turned out to be the worst experience. From the very first day, I couldn’t print a single photo — it came with a printing issue right out of the box. To make things worse, there is no proper service center or support to get it fixed. Completely disappointed and feel like I wasted my money. Definitely not recommended.

Dwukrotnie zamówiłem ten aparat i obydwa egzemplarze były uszkodzone. Pierwszy z nich w ogóle się nie uruchamiał i został wymieniony na nowy, natomiast drugi egzemplarz miał problem z drukowaniem zdjęć - warstwy kolorów nie nakładały się idealnie na siebie, były przesunięte. Aplikacja na telefon w wersji android pozostawia wiele do życzenia.

I am disappointed with the reliability of this product. After successfully printing only 3–4 times, the camera began displaying a 'Cartridge Not Recognized' error. Despite the cartridge being correctly installed. the device fails to detect it. This inconsistency makes the product difficult to use.
