Functional and Easy to Put Together
I got this coat rack to hang my purse collection on. It was simple enough to assemble (despite a handful of reviews claiming otherwise) and seems to be pretty sturdy. It fits nicely in the small corner I had envisioned, and I’m definitely pleased with this purchase!

Sturdy, tall, needs a lot of muscle to put together
First off, this is a tall and very sturdy metal coat tree. It's mainly welded metal and seems like it can hold about as much weight as you could put on it. I read a few reviews that mentioned it was "hard" to put together and figured it was Ikea-directions hard. Wrong. This thing is Dwayne The Rock Johnson levels of hard. Putting it together conceptually is simple with a little common sense. Fit the smaller metal tubes into the bigger metal tubes and secure them with a few bolts. Where it gets hard is that it was clearly designed to perfectly fit, before the metal coating was added. In order to make the tubes fit together you have to torque them back and forth in the hole with the power of an enthusiastic CrossFitter until enough coating is ground off that they finally insert. And forget about using a rubber mallet to tap them firmly together, these are twisty turny metal pieces with no perpendicular angle to tap. If you try sanding off the coating be prepared for unsightly scratches if you slip the tiniest bit. This thing is great value and I think it'll last for a long time. If you have someone who loves to unscrew jars and can change a tire with a just a wrench and their pure glorious forearm strength, this is the perfect project for them. If you're a normal human, be prepared for sore arms and a lot of sweaty cursing.

Sturdy and attractive for a reasonable price
I received this coat rack yesterday and spent about 15-20 mins putting it together. The instructions aren't very good but it's not too hard to figure out once you isolate the bottom, middle and top pieces. The hardest part is putting both end into each of the connectors in order to get the screws though all 3 holes. Once you have it lined up it's pretty simple. Study, attractive and really doesn't look cheap.

Yes.
I like this coat rack, arrived today. As others have mentioned, it’s a little difficult to put together. The pieces are easy to identify using the parts list, so that’s not a problem. Some of the pieces are very snug, so I used the Allen wrench to force an alignment of the holes for the bolts. Pretty effective. Looks wonderful, I’m hoping for longevity as to usefulness. If it fails, you’ll hear from me again. In the meantime… I’m just going to enjoy it.

No instructions for assembly included
I like this stand, it appears to be sturdy (not yet tested with all my winter articles), and it is nice looking. The package came with no instructions, so I had to refer to the photos. Overall, it was easy to assemble, I did not have any issues with the pieces fitting together as other reviewers did. I'd buy it again.

Not worth $50
Feels super cheap and isn't worth $50. Didn't come with instructions on how to put it together. Very wobbly. So far, it holds 4 coats just fine.
