Perfect Socks
Perfect socks at reasonable price. They're just the right thickness for summer or winter. They stay up, but don't bind. The foot part hasn't stretched out yet after several washings. It's silly to rave about socks, but it's been a JOURNEY trying to find reasonable, quality socks - so here we are!

Great for neuropathy.
My hubby loves them. Easy on, support without causing tight fit around tops, cushioned soles he loves, they are perfect for diabetics with neuropathy. The compression isn’t too tight nor to loose. They stay up without the swelling.

Very good quality socks. For seriously swollen ankles, be careful.
I’ve been buying Medipeds socks in various colors, black, white, beige for about 20 years. I’ve never seen the brand name, Medipeds, on the bottom of the toe. It’s on the same side as the heel so it must be the bottom. This makes me suspect that this may be a Chinese knockoff. They are very good quality socks, no doubt.II think they’re a little tight because generally, Medipeds’ elastic is looser around the ankle and do not leave a compression mark after wearing them all day. These do. It’s not bad enough that I can’t wear them so I did not bother returning them. It is concerning though so if you have seriously swollen ankles and this amount of compression is bad for them, perhaps you should make sure you buy Medipeds with the brand name on top of the toes.

Not too tight
These are my current favorite socks as someone with sensory issues. I like the length and that they are not too tight on my calves.

The type sock recommended by my doctor
These socks seem well made and hold their shape despite many wearing. They are not heavy but for me, provide just the right amount of constriction without being too tight. Color-coded toe stitching aids in matching pairs after washing. I’m type 2 diabetic and my doctor recommended I try this type of sock. They definitely help keep swelling down which is the main purpose in wearing them.

Not all Medipeds are the same. The item pictured in the listing are the Medipeds made in Honduras. Those Medipeds have the word "Medipeds" printed on the toe. The made in Honduras socks are good quality. The item I actually received is not the item pictured in the listing. I received Medipeds with a simple red and blue band on the toes, no word "Medipeds". These banded Medipeds are made in China and are inferior in quality to those made in Honduras. Even more concerning, the tag with the socks has "Made in Honduras" on the front, but "Made in China" on the back. The socks are definitely made in China.

Does what it says on the label

As I have ankle swelling I find it hard to get socks that don't cut into my legs. Even All Day and other non-elasticated top socks are usually too tight to begin with. These socks, however, are very comfortable, nicely made and cause no adverse restriction or marking to my skin. Great price too.
