My QC headphones have now reached the 21st century! Amazing adaptor wih clear audio.
For the past few years I've used a 3.5mm to USB adaptor to connect my QC15 to my desktop PC. Multiple times a day I'd catch the cable on the arm of my chair and pull it out. I searched 'on the off chance' and was amazed to find this QC15 specific bluetooth adaptor - it fits perfectly, and when paired with a newly purchased Bluetooth 6 USB adaptor (less than £6 on Amazon) connected to my Win11 PC the audio quality is amazing - definitely better that I had via the cable and USB adaptor. The adaptor comes with a small glossy booklet that is easy to read and explains the simple pairing process well. After the initial charging period I was paired and connected within minutes. The volume controls on the adaptor are well placed. Before I bought this I had accepted the fact that I'd be retiring the headset and buying a new wireless noise cancelling headset. For a fraction of that cost this adaptor (and the cheap bluetooth 6 USB) have given my headphones a new lease of life....and I'm no longer tied to a cable so can move rooms and not lose connection

Very good upgrade.
Firstly the sound quality seems the same as when wired. Connects pretty quickly, only from one source at a time. So used with phone, Switch off bluetooth on the phone, connect to laptop. And vice versa. If bluetooth on first device is not disconnected, second device will not connect. Always an issue with bluetooth, however I think this has been resolved with some newer tech. I have left this review a while to get some idea of battery life. Used outside mostly, temperature between 4 ang 8 degrees C. At present on one charge I am at 9 hours. Connected to laptop it states 43% battery remaining. So I would say very good. Used fairly close to source. Phone in pocket for example, no idea on battery life if used at max bluetooth range. Over time a wired only headset will become difficult to use, phones with no jacks, and new airliners are going the bluetooth way. So initially looking at newer noise canceling headsets. Really happy with this upgrade, as a result changes ear pads and headband. Pretty much like new.

Perfect fit and function
It just works as it should. Not had a chance yet to judge running time but easy to charge with any USB socket (micro USB lead provided). I'd contemplated buying a Bluetooth headset but this has provided the wireless capability I wanted at far lower cost. Like many QC15 headsets mine were looking a bit tatty because of the surface breakdown of the band cover and the ear pieces. Having also replaced these my headset is like new once again.

Lease of life for qc15
Damaged the cable for my qc15 and stumbled across this by accident. Was a little dubious at first but the BT addition works better than expected. Easy connection to devices, sound quality is good with no real noticeable difference. Addition of volume adjustment on the ear piece is a nice. The attachment is light and don't notice it. Battery life seems adequate for now and seems to last a good while before requiring a recharge. Over all worth the money to upgrade the old qc15

Brilliant Piece of Kit
What a fantastic piece of kit. Now I can use my Bose QC2 NC over ear phones at the gym so no more earbuds falling out. Fantastic, highly recommended.

Very good audio quality, revived my 20+ year old QC2 headset.
I was skeptical about the functionality and audio quality of this device, primarily because older iterations of this type of unit had spotty connections and audio quality. I’m happy to report that all the issues of the older models of these devices have been resolved with this newest iteration. The bluetooth connection is very easy to use now, and remains connected when in use. Once the device is turned on, my phone is able to see the device within seconds and connect to it. Audio quality wise, this product is excellent for the price/ cost of what it does. The Bose QC2 was never known to have good audio quality even when feed directly from its supplied audio cable. The attached bluetooth device honestly sounds better than the wired cable. I suspect that the bluetooth device is sending a stronger audio signal to the headset then say my phone or music player is able to provide via wires. Something interesting about this device also is that its stock EQ seems to be taylored/ tweaked for the Bose headsets (I have a QC2). On my portable music devices using wired connections, I need to apply a EQ tailored for the QC2 headset in order to get decent audio quality (and avoid the music sounding flat). This device seems to have a decent enough EQ built in that I can just play music directly from phone/ music player via bluetooth, and it just sounds good inside the headset. Lastly, the device itself is rather light, so I don’t feel like one side of the headset is heavier than the other side. All in all, for the price of what this costs, compared to what is does (give usable bluetooth ability to a 20+ year old QC2 headset with good enough audio quality)… I’m rather happy with the purchase. Does the device make my headset into a ultra high-end bluetooth noise canceling headset from the likes of Sennheiser, Sony or Bose? No Does the device modernize my many decade old QC2 headset and permit very good bluetooth audio quality while retaining the already excellent noise canceling abilities? Yes

Ok, not great.
Sound of this item lacks a certain something. Bass response seems diminished in comparison to the cable the QC15 is supplied with. The adapter also lacks the quality feel of the Bose headphones they are designed for. They feel like the kind of plastic you find in chocolate boxes. That being said, they do work and given I have a new phone heading my way with no headphone jack, this is an adequate, but only adequate, stopgap breathing some life back into the headphones. Catch the item for less than £30 (I paid £35) and you'll have very little to complain about.

Excellent sound quality, easy to fit and install
Brilliant! i just charged them up (charging cable included) and plugged them into my Bose QC15 headphones. Switched on both the headphones and the bluetooth adapter, and it was right there to be added as a bluetooth device on my PC. When attached, the headphones still fit in the original protective case. Most importantly - excellent sound quality. Nice!

noisy adapter
the adapter fits well but you notice a humming noise at low noise levels which can only be drowned out by turning the volume up.
