If you need a good laxative this is a good one to try. Just follow direction on the bottle.

A year ago I left a 1 star review for this product. I am now raising the rating to 4 stars because I have purchased two more bottles since then and neither one has had the quality issue described in my original review. I'm still docking one star because the product contains menthol, which supposedly can promote acid reflux.Original review from January 2019:I've depended on this product to manage my IBS-C for over three years, and until now I would have recommended them to anyone. But the tablets in the most recent bottle I received are virtually unusable. They are gritty and start to dissolve on my tongue before I can swallow them. If I chew one to stop it from going down in a melted lump, all the menthol is released, which irritates my mouth and throat. The ingredients list on the label is the same as always, but something about the formulation has changed for the worse. I ordered them from Lane Labs / Lane Innovative via Amazon and the expiration date is 09/21, so it's definitely not an expired batch. I'm extremely disappointed and now I must look for an alternative product.Update from September 2019: I left that bottle in the cabinet for several months then tried the tablets again. This time they didn't start dissolving as soon as I put them in my mouth, and I was able to swallow them without getting a chalky mess in my throat. So I guess that either only the tablets at the top of the bottle were affected, or the consistency of the tablets improved as they aged.

A friend nagged me for a a couple of years to try this for my IBS. I finally caved in and did. Wish I had listened a couple of years ago!!! I only need to take one a night, and for the past 3 months not a single miss. No cramping, no bad side effects. I love it :-)

This product is mostly magnesium and makes folksvlike me very sick. Also did little to relieve constipation. I would like a refund.
