Shrinky Dinks are an absolute blast from the past that still hold up today! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
As a kid, I was mesmerized by the magic of transforming a simple plastic sheet into a tiny, personalized work of art. Now, sharing this experience with my own kids, the wonder hasn't faded one bit. The process is simple enough for even little hands to manage, sparking creativity and providing a tangible sense of accomplishment. From tracing and coloring to the satisfying "pop" as they shrink in the oven, every step is filled with anticipation and excitement. The possibilities are endless – keychains, jewelry, ornaments, or just little tokens to brighten someone's day. Shrinky Dinks offer a unique blend of crafting and science, making them both educational and incredibly fun. If you're looking for a nostalgic, engaging, and thoroughly enjoyable activity for kids (and adults!), look no further than Shrinky Dinks. They're a five-star favorite in our house!

So much fun!
The Just play Creative pack is Shiny on both sides if you want to use pencils just use fine sand paper and scruff up the side for pencils. Bake with that side up. So pencil doesn’t melt out of grooves before it finishes baking. Bake for the full three minutes. If your piece is big or long and skinny - it will curl and stick to itself. I highly recommend a double layer of parchment paper on top of those pieces. One layer on everything else. At the 2 minute mark you can quickly remove the paper. If you’re a watcher I know you can’t see the fun through the paper but you’ll see it rise and rest assured your piece will be safer this way.The real Shrinky Dinks are very nice. I’ve tried other brands but these are nice and thick. They take longer to bake than the imitators - 3 minutes and if the middle looks weird, odd, just stick it back in the oven for 1 to 1.5 minutes. Larger pieces can take longer too. I will definitely buy these again.

Fun craft, easy to use
We used Shrinky Dinks to make Girl Scout swaps. A full sized sheet (8” x 10”?) shrinks to about 3” x 4”). It works well for smaller works. We also tried coloring and baking an entire sheet. If you make a larger piece of work, it could curl up. We had to rebake the work several times and then meticulously uncurl it. We did the best we could, but there was still a few ripples in the final product. Lesson learned, Shrinky Dinks can be fun, but if you want a larger finished piece, have extra sheets on hand in case you have baking issues.

Mother’s Day craft
Had so much fun making these keychains , for more vibrant color definitely use the white sheets, the transparent ones are a little dark, and make sure you let the ink dry really good before touching the ink will smudge

Works in a pinch. But not as good as Grafix.
First time using this brand of shrink plastic sheets. Figured it would be a solid choice considering it’s the original brand name. Though results were just okay.Googled how much Shrinky Dink sheets shrink. Most answers said 1/3 size. I found it was closer to 41-45% of original size. Thickness was about 1/16”.The curling issue that several reviews mention isn’t a product issue. Place between two sheets of foil. Lightly crease the edges of the foil together so it stays closed while baking. This will prevent it from curling and sticking to itself. However, these sheets are not as uniform when shrinking. (see photo) These were cut using circle paper punches. As you can see there is distortion in most of the pieces. Not the end of the world. But also not what I was expecting.Don’t regret this purchase. And would buy again for some rainy day entertainment with the kids. But will stick with Grafix shrink plastic for art projects.

Very fun
These are so fun and you can make so many different things. It’s fun to make things of our favorite characters but this time we used them as a class art project where kids could write a message to their mom and their mom would always have their precious child’s handwriting on a keychain. They were easy for kids to create and easy for me to bake. The instructions worked perfectly and they made durable keychains.

Super fun!
These are so much fun! We used these to make drawings of crystals in our homeschool, and they turned out really cool. We used permanent markers on them, and they worked great. We tried acrylic paint, and it turned out really good. I did print out a photo in my printer on one and then shrunk it and even that turned out, but I tried to preserve the photo by covering it with modge podge and it smeared, so don't do that, just let it dry. I was able to preserve the acrylic paint with modge podge and it was fine. I really love making key chains out of these, just remember to hole punch the shrinky dink before you bake it.
