Wonderfully useful book with a very enjoyable and methodical approach to positions. It's apparently an old book, but it sta zs the test of ti.e.

Incredibly effective book in my practice, maybe the most useful book yet. Exercises are short and practical. Not exciting but I'd have a concept down in about 1-2 days and the improvement was palpable, would give 6 stars if I could!

This was recommended to me by my violin teacher when I expressed an interest in learning positions up the fingerboard. I'm enjoying it.

Helps beginning violin students. Print quality is not updated, and is very poor.

Love to use this when introducing new positions to violinists. It takes you through scale wise, then skips, then gives you exercises with added bowings/rhythms. Good build up!

This book will help improve violinist skills. It contains free fingerings for each position, notes/ advice for different pages, explaining the correct choices for shifting, scales for different keys, and after all these exercises, little tunes and pieces to practice in different positions. I love this and would recommend 😁
