How many pills at once

Not real sure what maximum would be. Depends on size of pills. My dad takes 6 every morning and it is big enough for them. 5 normal size prescription pills and one large Zantac pill. Hope this helps!

Question 2

How do i set this up if there are 2 different sets of medication need between am and pm? do i have to have a second pill dispenser?!

Use the disc that says 1-2-1-2-1-2 all around.  Line the tabs up as the directions explain.  Fill am pills in all the 1 spaces and pm pills in the 2 spaces. First set clock to right time; then as explained.  Then set alarm times. Hit alarm til it says 1 of 9, hit again til hour blinks and hit + to go up and - to go down in hour. Hit alarm again until minutes blink and go up or down and then hit alarm to set.  For pm dose hit alarm til it says 2 of 9 and then follow same procedure.  I set my 1 st of 9 alarms  to 6 am and then 2nd of 9 alarms to 6 pm.  The pill box will alarm nonstop until door is opened and pill slot emptied.  It will rotate to slot number 2 with the next alarm. The key locks the box to prevent tampering with pills. Be patient and keep following instructions. Not hard once u get used to it.

Question 3

If alarm is muted, does it still blink until taken,like if she gets up an hour late?

You can’t “mute” the alarm.  It goes off until it’s turned upside down. Once it’s upside down, it assumes that the pills have been dispensed and taken.

You can cause the alarm to not go off at all by turning it upside down and leaving it that way, but then it simply advances without notifications of any kind.

So no beeping. At all. I find it useful if I will be out of the house. I turn it upside down before heading out.  If I don’t, it’s still beeping when I come home.

As for lights, this pill dispenser has no lights.

Question 4

Is it possible to use 2pill slots in 1time daily dose if someone takes a lot of meds? Like 8pills in 1 slot & 8 pills in 2nd slot right after ea othe?

I think the only way you could do that is set an alarm for say 8 o’clock and set a second alarm for 8:01. not very convenient, but that would work.
