Sansha Women's Recital II Pointe Shoe

Beautiful but we had to return and order a bigger size because they were too small. I don’t know if we didn’t get the sizes or run small

the soles are good. The size is a joke. i am an 11 and my wife is an 8.5. I ordered size 11 wide and they don't fit either one of us. The back strap that shows to be attached in the description; however it was not in either shoe. The elastic bow at the top front of the shoe was not tied and only 1 elastic end was visible. The outside of the toe looked almost like it had water stains; however, the shoes were not worn. do not waist your time with these unless you enjoy returning sub par products

I really loved how strong these are. Even as my first pair of pointe shoes, I noticed that they were extremely well made and are very hard to break into. One draw back: The strap isnt attached and you need to get some ribbons as they arent given with the shoes. I usually wear a size 9 street shoe and ordered a 12; I'm kind of wishing I got a 13 because they're a little tight, but I'll deal with them. Overall I think these are good pointe shoes for the beginners and am excited to start trying these out. The colour is superb and beautiful!

I should point out, I am using these while doing a Ballet Beautiful mat workout - simply because I think they look pretty. I am not actually dancing en pointe in these. But for my uses, they are wonderful. I wear an 8 street size so ordered an 11 XW. They are wide enough and the perfect length. I am very happy I ordered them!

Very lovely...and very small! You will definitely want to order 2 sizes bigger than your Sansha flats (which I ordered 2 sizes bigger than my street shoe size, according to the Sansha size chart recommendations. So, being as I wear an 11, that seems to make me SOL for replacing my pointe shoes, since I would need a 15.) This is a good example of why it's best, if you are blessed with a local dance shop, to be fitted first... and save online ordering for replacements (same style, same brand). Barring that, you may have to make multiple returns before you find your perfect fit. Thankfully, Amazon has a very generous return policy! Just make sure you don't wear them or sew on elastic 😉

I have large fit and have never been able to find large sizes that fit. These fit and are very comfortable. I wear a mens street shoe 9.5 wide. I've tried the old rule of adding 2 sizes, but they never fit and are horribly uncomfortable. Instead I decided to add 4 (14) and got a perfectly comfortable fit. My big feet are happy!

I didnt want to invest in a pair Blochs, since I am an occasional dancer, but good night these pointe shoes are poorly made. I have only put these on once to start the break-in process and already the inner sole has completely become unglued by itself and on top of that there is a shoe tack protruding from the bottom of the heel. These point shoes are not for dancing, but would make a good piece of decoration for a ballet themed room.

Decent shoes but seems as if they were made of one cast as both shoes fit only the Right foot well. Once placed on the left foot, they feet crooked and sideways bulged.

It was a size or two too small, if your ordering, order a size up

CONS: These are literally 3 sizes too small. And very narrow. I am a street shoe size 7 and in ballet flats I am a 4.5. But in these pointes I am a size 10 apparently and might even need to select “wide” when I exchange them when my feet are actually considered narrow. So order 3x your shoe size or you will be disappointed. PROS: they are VERY pretty and come with an elastic sewn to one side. You need to adjust the unsown side to whatever length you want and sew it in yourself and don’t forget to buy your own ribbons. I love that the shanks are in the bag so you can choose to insert them or keep them out, using the shoes as demi pointes instead. I also love the mesh bag it comes with which is good for keeping the shoes aired out and dry. When I bought Sansha demi pointes at The Shoe Room I didn’t even get a sansha bag, so this was a nice surprise! The colour is a beautiful peach and they match perfectly with my stretchy elastic style ribbons.
