A lot of reviews mention that this makes your hair hard, and of course it can because it's a wax. If you have any idea what a wax is, you'll know what to expect from this product. It's a thin hair wax with vibrant color. I have the purple and orange ones, and they show up great on all hair, though somewhat better on lighter hair. Washes out easy too and didn't stain my bleached, white hair. My suggestion: put on light layers and build up the color on damp hair. Blow dry, and it'll still be there, but it'll look more natural and less hard. Still, it is a light hold WAX, so look up what that is before you buy and leave a bad review.

The purple hair wax worked extremely well for me. As someone who has tried rinses and literally seen NO results this worked well and let me try new colors that really pop. I get so many compliments on the purple hair!!! It is hair wax and yes even using it on damp hair and then doing my twist outs and putting pudding on top of that my hair is not as soft but it is hair WAX. I have kept it in my hair for up to 4 days (accidental, time management) but still did not see any damage to my hair. It literally just sits on top of the hair. If kept in for a couple days you will see flaking but I usually do not see it until day 3. I have 3C natural hair. (Honestly because of the “wax” portion my curls actually last longer) When washed out it doesn’t take much for it to be completely gone, very easy. Using it can be quite messy as it transfers onto anything but clean up is not bad since it wipes away instantly. Main downside is that if I touch my hair during the day( which is often) I will see purple on my fingers, not a lot and not bright but I can definitely tell it’s there. However, to get easy to do vibrant color I usually just watch when I touch my hair or use hand sanitizer and that solves that. Have recommended and will probably try the blue next :)

This stuff rubs off, so if you have long hair, wear nothing you don't want to ruin. Although it seemed easily wiped off, I wore black. It washes right out, so don't expect long-term use. The color is metallic-looking after it dries, but I kept it in my hair for several days, in a high ponytail, wearing a bonnet at night, after a few days the color gets darker only visible in the light.

This product is just terrible. Stains everything BUT hair. Leaves no color whatsoever. Id give 0 stars if i could.

I used this for crazy hair day at my son's school. He wanted to have"sonic" hair, this did the trick. His hair is very curly and dark brown/ black I used a little less than half of the jar I will say it's very stiff/sticky when you put the wax on very hard to style after you apply and a bit hard to brush but we didn't use water like noted in the description just because we were rushing. Overall I would recommend it, very vibrant for his hair texture and color, easy to apply and super easy to wash out. 10/10

I LOVED this product! I ordered it for a halloween costume and it was great on my curly hair because it essentially functioned as a strong-hold gel. I scrunched it in and it stayed all night. I was worried about washing it out because I fell asleep with it still in, but it came off immediately in the shower the next morning. It got all over my white sheets and pillowcases, but one load of laundry and you never would have known! It was so much easier to apply than the spray paint non-permanent hair dyes I've used, and there was so much of it! I covered my entire head with it Friday night, and was able to give some to my friend the next night for her Avatar Aang costume, and it's still half full. It did not smell like anything which was good. I cannot recommend this enough!!
