Fit for purpose and very reasonably priced.
I'm happy with this socket, it was exactly what I needed.I don't want to say anything negative about this because it is fine for my needs, I personally have no complaints, however, for people who want incredible durability, I wouldn't want to bet on the strenth of the plastic, the build quality is great but the plastic is light. If you aren't going to abuse it on the road this will be fine for you.Good buy, great price, 100% satisfied.

Good quality.
Having read previous reviews about the socket end of these extensions being reverse polarity, loose connections, and the wires being stripped to longI decided to check every one of them before use, and they were all found to be just fine.

Potential Safety Issues
The materials of construction are reasonable and, with one very strong caveat, these are potentially good value. However, the one I was sent had a significant issue. At the re-wireable socket terminals, the mains cables have been just stripped and left naked, rather than the use of ferrules. In this particular case, this meant that the strands of the earth conductor were actually spread apart by the terminal screw and just a small proportion of them were actually making good contact with said screw. This is serious enough as-is and why electricians and quality equipment make use of crimped ferrules however, if it were the case for either the line or neutral conductors then the load capability of the socket would have been severely compromised, with the potential for overheating.I'm happy to keep mine and even purchase further units if needed, as I'm now aware of this potential manufacturing defect and will re-terminate the flex in them properly myself before use. However for the average home user, I think this really isn't good enough.
