What is the run time at 100% from a pair of fully charged NPF-970 batteries?

This light supposedly has a power consumption of 45 watts at 15 volts. This equals 3 amps. The NFL 970 batteries have a 6300 M AH capacity each. Using 2 batteries that equates to 12.6 AH (Amperes - Hours) Therefore 12.6 AH divided by 3 Amps is 4.2 hours. This is a theoretical maximum. I would reduce this by half because of many factors that affect battery capacity. As a licensed Electrical Engineer my estimate is 2 hours max. For additional buffer I'd recommend a 1 to 1.5 hour assumption.

Which is the compatible soft box?

I have never seen a softbox for this panel. I have only seen softboxes for the smaller panels, and the final "big end" is about the same dimensions as this panel. From my experience with lighting, these panels work best when kept close to the subject because they are not as bright as big AC powered fluorescent lights. The light drops off pretty fast when they are backed away from a subject for a wide shot.

If connected to a switched wall outlet, could the light turn on with the wall switch, or would it need to be manually powered on every time?

Just test: As long as it's on the right mode (power switch on the light clicked to the right), it remembers its last setting. That is, if you turn it off with your remote before you turn off your switch, it will not power on. If it was on when you turned the switch off, it will turn back on with the switch. Hope that makes sense!

The specifications showing on the Neewer website state that the AC adapter works on 110-240V, 50-60Hz., and draws 1.6A.
