Oral-B Glide Complete Floss Picks, Dental Floss Picks, Scope Outlast, 75-ct, Toothpicks Floss Picks

The 225 ct super pack isn't available on Amazon anymore, so I am trying out the 75 ct arctic peppermint floss. The minty flavor doesn't last long, but the floss itself is very durable. The texture feels a bit more gritty than the original floss picks, which is better in my opinion.

What can I say? It's dental floss. Some of the other brands do not work as well. This is slightly waxed and flat. Gets that popcorn out of your teeth before you go to bed. Remember to floss and brush regularly.

Horrible experience. I thought I would try these out coming from DenTek which started to break once or twice during flossing (which used to never break, but recently with the latest packaging something seems to have gone wrong).To start with the only pro I can think of, I will say I do prefer the handle this one has due to its flexible duller nature compared to the DenTek with its rigid sharp end, which means it does not poke and hurt my hand the way the DenTek can.Now to the point. The actual floss thread itself is much thicker and has a bit of a sharper edge which was not the biggest issue; however, the thread while thicker and easier to get caught is at the same time incredibly weak. After a few teeth, I found consistently the floss would start shredding. I would attempt to keep using it until it broke off a side holding it in rendering it useless. It did many times (generally used 3-4 flossers for each flossing session). This while incredibly frustrating and unsatisfying, was not inherently harmful, though I did feel like smaller shredded threads would often be left or stuck in my mouth. The worst occasion, and the reason I have stopped using these entirely, my 2nd flosser of the night broke, which was not unexpected, but the problem was both sides holding the floss in broke and the floss had gotten stuck in one of my molars. I tried and tried for 20 minutes to pull this thing out as it created a very uncomfortable sensation between my teeth. Finally I gave up trying myself and enlisted someone else's help. We tried for 10 minutes, and eventually pulled it out partially with a tweezer, then finally with my hands.DenTek while may have reduced their quality, is still miles ahead of Oral-B here, and I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I have loved and exclusively used this brand for a while because the teeth in the back of my mouth are very close together and regular floss is a pain to use. I usually buy several bags at a time because I run out so quick. I floss after every meal because I can't stand the feeling of things between my teeth. This floss alone has made my last several dentist appointments come back cavity free! (Flossing is just as important as brushing!) Unfortunately, the reason for me docking a star is the company has changed something in the old Glide floss within the past couple of orders and while I've been using it anyways I really, really dislike the new floss. The floss breaks even more easily now than it did before and it keeps leaving shredded pieces of floss stuck in between my teeth, which is even more annoying than feeling the food stuck in there! I never had an issue with feeling the shredded floss in my teeth before. Which makes me think the floss is different but I have ordered the same floss every time according to Amazon. I've been trying to tough it out but something has definitely changed in the last little bit and I sincerely hope Oral B changes it back. The product before worked great for me. If the company is reading, please consider this review!
