Mucinex Children's Chest Congestion Expectorant and Cough Suppressant Mini-Melts, Orange Cream, 12 Count (Packaging May Vary)

This is the first thing my kids ask for every time they start getting a cold. I've ordered it several times and will continue to do so going forward. The sweet little pellets melt easily and work well with my sensory kid. Goes in smooth, taste like candy, but works like medicine. Taking 1 packet a few times a day wont get you a weeks worth for long standing colds, but for how well it works, best product for the price.

I’m one of those adults that cannot gag down big pills or capsules. This is especially difficult when your throat is weak and raw from coughing. I was recently stricken with some respiratory thing and discovered the revolting-flavored child’s cough syrup I had on hand had expired. I took a chance and ordered these, which turned out to be a great decision. Not only are they pleasant-tasting (think Pixie Sticks!), but they work extremely well. I was having coughing fits so violent I could hardly catch my breath, and two packets of this quieted it quickly. I took two packets morning and night and was finally able to get some rest. And when chest congestion set in, these helped with that too! I ordered a couple of extra boxes to have on-hand.

this is the easiest medicine product i’ve been able to give my child since they discovered that they could tell me no. i have even taken it myself (just one packet at a time) and it has been able to relieve my cough. brand is expensive but i do think it is worth it for a medicine that doesn’t taste bad, works, and i don’t have to bribe my child to take, it will be our go-to medicine for cough and cold season, i hope they expand on this type of product.

My 11 year old hates taking medicine and at this point refuses to take any of the liquid medicine out there as she’s not quite old enough to start taking the pills I came across this one and deciding to give it a try. She loves this one, She said the taste is really good even to be licking the pack to make sure she got it all. Medicine works well also, Great choice for picky kids

I bought a liquid version of Mucinex but it’s too sweet and thick, and my child often wretches after swallowing 1/10 of the required portion —- I couldn’t even stand the fake fruity, sugary taste. However, this was accepted quite well and these looked like Nerds, and easy to pour them out on my child’s tongue. It contains a half amount of the active ingredients than that in the liquid Mucinex, thus you may need to give 2 pouches depends on your child’s condition. It’s more expensive than the liquid medicine, but it’s definitely easier to give and also becomes handy when traveling.

My daughter is so hard to get to take any medicine. These can go in pudding or yogurt or a pouch! Just pour them in and they never know they are getting medicine!

My 6 yr old hates any kind of medicine but this he will actually take for me. Says it doesn't taste bad. It really helps with congestion too. I love this medicine for kids
