Works amazing! Perfect, simple coffee maker. Clean results. Love it!!!

We've been Mr. Coffee users since way back when Joe DiMaggio was advertising them on TV. Our most recent one finally gave out after about 15 years of faithful service. The Mr. Coffee® Simple Brew 12-Cup Switch Coffee Maker was the perfect replacement: no frills, no timers or blinking clocks, just a simple on-off switch. Also, the basket seems to be a simpler, more fool-proof design than on the older models. We expect our new Mr. Coffee® Simple Brew 12-Cup Switch Coffee Maker to last a long time. Oh...and the coffee is, well, classic Mr. Coffee!

I liked the coffee pot while it was working, but it did not last a year. Unfortunately, I was unable to file on the year warranty as I trashed the pot when it stopped working not knowing that to file on the warranty I needed it. The warranty form asks questions that you have to answer directly from the coffee pot. The online form will not allow you to leave blanks.UPDATE: I went online to the manufacturer and told them what happened. I provided proof of purchase receipt. Since I was still within the year warranty time frame, I received a new coffee pot.I do appreciate the great customer service support.Thank you Mr. Coffee. ❤️April 4, 2025 - replacement coffee pot update: the glass pot cracked. Replacement lasted a year. Just need to order a replacement glass.

I have no high expectations when it comes to coffee makers, especially in this price range. What I do expect is ease of operation, which for the most part this has. The one huge flaw with this particular machine is the gigantic lid to this thing. The top lid, that covers the filter & water sections is nearly a foot long. It is nearly impossible to open under cabinets unless you have very tall ones. That being said I give this coffee maker 4 stars because its a basic coffee maker and there ain't a whole lot to mess up on... except maybe the lid.

Great coffee brew with economical value!

The classic design cannot be beat. I have been putting this machine through it's paces for 6 years, and it has not disappointed. It is easy to use and nigh indestructible.I purchased it because my last coffee maker was digitally controlled. Well, when the chip started to go, it wouldn't even stay turned on to brew. This machine, without the digital control, just turns on, and then brews.One downside; it is a little tricky to clean the reservoir. However, a little bit of white vinegar run through once or twice every few months keeps the internal pumps clean and the coffee tasting good.Seriously, this has been one of the best appliance purchases I have ever made.The easy design also makes it super easy to self-repair. Some coffee grounds got into the pump, ruining the machine. I was able to easily repair it in an hour myself. In a world where everything breaks immediately and cannot be repaired, I found this ability to be a massive plus!

Works great. The last same model I had lasted almost 5 years making coffee every single day.

I love Mr Coffee makers but was looking for a white color with silver trim. When I saw this one I wasExcited to order. I should have read the description but since I have had Mr Coffee Pots in the past I didn’t feel I needed to. Big mistake on my part. The coffee pot is simple with NO functions on it! This pot does not have an automatic shut off after two hours. I find that not having an automatic shut off could result in a very dangerous situation possibly causing a fire in your home. I am surprised that this pot is even allowed to bePurchased. I put this pot in the garbage can so no one hopefully would use it. Very disappointed in Mr Coffee on this one. I don’t recommend this model but love the more functional ones Mr Coffee makes. Unfortunately they are mostly sold in a black color so I had to choose a different company.
