I never, ever try makeup samples since I love the makeup I am currently using. However ......I was at a yoga class when these were made available to anyone who wanted to take one. Since I am getting ready to head to South Africa to go on a safari, I was intrigued by a product that combined sunscreen, moisturizer, as well as a tint (providing a smoothing out of skin tone). Taking one but having low expectations, I was completely surprised about how much I loved it! The individual packet provided was very small but I was able to get two applications from it, and could have probably gotten three if I had a bit more experience with the product at the time. Basically, this is fabulous product that made my entire day. I picked up some more of the packets from the yoga studio to throw in my carry-on and purchased the tube here on Amazon for use at home.A few things to share:I am incredibly fair skinned and the light/medium worked for me. I usually use the lightest tone available in any foundation, but this looked so good that I stuck with it.The cream does have a slight odor upon application but it disappears quickly and is much better than any sunscreen I have found.It seems like it gets absorbed by the skin quickly and it isn't nearly as shiny as sunscreens are. This product does have a slight sheen to it but it's worlds better than an oily sunscreen.I don't have perfect skin, but the coverage is quite satisfactory and evens out my skin tone. If you have blemishes you are wishing to cover, after applying to your entire face, you could just put an additional light dab on those spots and blend in. That should take care of most of the coverage issues.I have sensitive skin and I had no negative reaction of any kind.A little bit goes a long way. Very small amount of product is required which also makes this very economical.Bottom line: I can't believe what a super product this is. It will be my go-to product during the summer months and when travelling on vacations with outside activities.

This is the ONLY product I’ve found that has matched my skin tone perfectly. It’s a BB cream, so don’t expect foundation coverage — but it blends so well and works great to even out my natural skin tone! It’s also a plus to have some sun protection in it. Even as someone with sensitive skin and acne that occasionally flares up due to makeup, my face has never been irritated by this product!

This covers better than any foundational I've ever tried. The only downside is that it irritates my skin for about 30 minutes causing it to itch. That's the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

I'm very pale, but the light to medium was just right. The coverage is perfect as well. And it's moisturizing, not greasy or shiney as others stated. It has a bit of a citrus smell, but not overwhelming.

Let me start by saying that I do love Burt’s Bees cosmetics. I have spent the past two years replacing toxic chemicals from all the products that I use. I have tried so many of their products because of how clean the ingredients are. That being said, I have quite a few gripes with this.First, the color is a match for my skin. However, it’s oily and isn’t a ton of coverage. If you add too much, it separates on your skin but add to little and you have no coverage.Second, it leaves a sheen. Not a glowing sheen, a wow, you have oily skin sheen. I have dry skin and I prefer my face to be matte.Thirdly, this is NOT for anyone with dry skin. You will be patchy and it will settle into all those dry patches. How do I know? I tried a toner that really hurt my skin and left me with dry patches over my entire face. It wasn’t pretty using this product.HOWEVER, although I added a lot of things I disliked, I don’t hate this. Again, the clean ingredients list is something that is very important to me. Also, if you add this under the Burt’s Bees matte powder foundation, it does end up looking very nice. It gives a little extra coverage and adds an SPF. I wouldn’t ever wear this alone and I don’t have any skin issues to even cover up. See my pic. This is with Burt’s Bees matte powder foundation on top with a tiny bit of Burt’s Bees blush.Will I repurchase? If I don’t find anything else to try with this many clean ingredients, yes. I do really like the way it looks under the powder. However, it’s not a product I am absolutely thrilled with.

UPDATE!So I don't usually write reviews, but I was reading some of these and had to answer the question on how to mix this BB cream. Shake it...up and down, side to side. It’s incredably easy and will go on so smooth! If your bb cream is drying too fast just use a little more. It doesn’t get caked and will blend fine. I usually put a light setting powder or mineral powder on after. I have dry sensitive skin and this stuff gives you a light dewy feel. I love it!Hope that helped..Cheers! ✌️UPDATE: 2020. Still my favorite bb cream! How to apply. I wash my face and depending on the season. If it’s summer I use this as a moisturizer directly after washing and drying my face. If it’s winter and I need a little extra love I’ll use a moisturizer before apply this then finish my makeup and set with powder.I apply a somewhat generous amount to my fingers rub together and apply to face in circular motion (now this is key for a flawless finish) once it’s feeling tacky and drying down (while you’re blending it in with hands) PAT it in, on your entire face, the finish will be perfectly blended and flawless. No cake face, and no streaks. This is how I apply more and get a fuller coverage.Start with a little more than you’d think you’d need, rub in with hands until tacky, then pat entire face, finish your look then set with a powder=flawless natural looking skin with medium/full coverage!The shade I use is light/medium!

I’ve purchased 4 of these Burts Bee’s BB cream from this same seller. First tube didn’t smell good but smell instantly goes away once rubbed on my face. All tubes since then have had a pleasant odor. It’s been almost a year since first order. Coverage is light, non greasy and blends beautifully with all my skin tones on my 52 year old face. I feel good wearing this foundation cream. Not heavy coverage but covers all the tones on my face. Leaves my face looking natural. I’ve worn only this for over a year. Perfect for all four seasons! My skin is very clear and no blemishes!

I was looking for a daily tinted moisturizer because my normal light weight "IT" foundation moisturizer seems to have a different formula than before and much heavier which was a total bummer.I researched a ton of different tinted moisturizers and had hoped to go back to my Aveeno which was great but they stopped making it. I gave this a try andwas pleasantly surprised!!It is just like my Aveeno and works great. It evens out the skin as I have just a bit of redness here and there. My skin loves it and I'm super happy with my purchase. You can build it for a bit more coverage if needed and for anything more you can just use a bit of your normal concealer.*You do need to shake the tube to mix the moisturizer otherwise it may separate, but easy fix!*There is a slight citrus smell but it goes away within 5 minutes. I usually break out with anything that smells like or has citrus but my skin is great!*I tried this tinted moisturizer with my normal oil routine underneath as well as without. With makes my face a bit sticky as well as without. I gave this product 4 stars for that reason.*Last comment- I read a review saying that the color runs light. Very true. I am normally "light" and I got the light/med. It's perfect. Matches my winter color. During the summer I would apply bronzer anyway so not an issue.Overall this is a great product with minimal cons and great for the price!

Me gustaría empezar mi reseña dando un poco de contexto. Tengo la piel extremadamente grasa, por lo que tiendo a tener imperfecciones y al cabo de unas horas me brillaba la cara muchísimo, por lo que constantemente tenía que ponerme maquillaje en polvo, lo cual hacía peor el problema... He probado por alrededor de 10 años bases de muchas marcas, incluso aquellas que son "especiales" para mi tipo de piel y nunca nada me había funcionado hasta que probé la BB Cream de Burt's Bees. La textura es súper suave y se adapta perfecto a la piel (tono y textura), por lo que ni siquiera se nota que tengas puesto maquillaje, se ve muy natural y cubre perfecto manchas e imperfecciones. La piel no queda grasosa y se ve humectada, además de que es súper duradera, puedes ponértela desde la mañana y llegar a casa en la noche y no es necesario hacer ningún retoque, además de que ya no he necesitado usar maquillaje en polvo, por lo que mi piel está más limpia y se nota. Otra cosa que me encanta es que es fácil de aplicar y distribuir por todo el rostro sin necesidad de aplicar grandes cantidades. En fin, estoy verdaderamente encantada con el producto y generalmente la marca, ¡recomendadísima!

Been using this for a couple of days and I love it so much already . I've never tried a bb cream before and was so difficult to find a cruelty free one to try. I did read one woman's review of this on here and her suggestions really helps . It feels so light on the skin and great to even skin tone. The only thing to say is to not use expect it to work as effective as a concealer if you have blemishes and it might have spf 15 but would recommend wear suncream for good protection. Overall a lovely product that I will stick to now

He usado BB creams de distintas marcas de lujo y esta me gusta mucho más. Es ligera, humecta muy bien y si es necesario con una segunda capa provee mucha cobertura. El olor que tiene es un poco peculiar, algo frutal, pero después de aplicarla deja de percibirse.

I really liked this. Smells like chocolate orange! Goes on easily and seems to last ages. Will buy again.

Love this product!!!!! It makes my skin look slightly sun-kissed and very glowy without being oily, It is very light with a mousse-like texture and spreads evenly. I have been using it for nearly a month now and i am impressed by the improvement in my skin itself, the cream is very nourishing. Plus you dont need to wear concealer as the coverage is adequate enough to hide redness/small blemishes.My skin type is dry and teenage.
