Amazing Clear Cast Plus [16 oz A + 16 oz B(32 Ounces) 2 Part Kit] UV Resistant Plastic Coating & Casting Epoxy Resin for Countertop, Cups, Tumblers & Crafts | High-Gloss Liquid Glass Finish

I have used Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast Plus multiple times now. To mix Part A and Part B the instructions say to measure each part by equal volume (e.g. 1ml + 1ml). However, I do not like 'eyeballing' volume, so I figured out what weights to use. The weight of Part B is slightly heavier than the weight of Part A, so if you want to mix by weight, take however much Part A you poured into the mixing cup (e.g. 10 grams) and multiply that by .941 to get the weight of Part B. So, for example, 10 grams Part A + 9.41 grams Part B. I use a pressure pot to squish any bubbles to the point they are invisible. I typically leave the casting in the pressure pot for 24 hours at anywhere from 35 psi to about 50 psi. Anything 35 psi and above has been working well for me. Castings, especially thin castings, can be soft at fist. Full cure does not happen for about 6 days. Even then, thin parts can still be a bit more flexible than I would prefer. I may try to get stiffer thin parts by adding a little more Part B which I believe is the hardener. If I do I will come back and update this review.

Love the product but dislike the stirring process. 7 minutes stir time. Clear with hardly any bubbles low Oder. Will buy again!

I use this product a lot in my small business, custom epoxy tumblers. It works well with deadlines due to its fast drying abilities. It smells and is easily transferred, so ventilation and personal protective equipment (gloves, mask) are important. Mixability, quality, and hardening ability are good and I continue to purchase this item/brand.

I love this brand but it got lost…

If I the room is too hot it will bend if it’s too thin. Then again I’m not quite sure how this works. If I made an artist pallet I would have to make sure they’re thick enough to not bend in a hot or humid environment.

This is my second time buying Amazing Clear Cast Resin. I have used several resin's and this is the 1st so far that has not gotten cloudy or harden up so fast will I was working and gave me a little longer working time. I am still looking for a resin that would allow me a longer working. Very few bubbles and dries pretty clear definitely happy I bought it will buy again.
