Needed while traveling across the country and came in a timely manner and worked great

This is the second SCR3310 I have owned in over 12 years. The first one just failed. That says a lot for reliability. The only issue I ever had was not realizing it was failing. It was really easy to point to card or user account issues, but the real issue was the card reader not actually functioning. The light was on, but I didn’t pay close enough attention to recognize the lack of flashing activity, meaning it was not truly working. But the price and general longevity made getting an exact replacement the right choice. No hassles. No set-up beyond plugging it into the computer and inserting the card.

Works as expected. Looks exactly like government-issued ones.

I tried other card readers and had troubles with the driver installations. This card reader works very well on Linux and Windows (haven't tried it on Mac). It's the same card reader that all of the IT guys at my hospital use.

I needed to access the computer at work from my home. It works well.

I work for the DoD, specifically the Air Force and need a replacement for an old CAC card reader that failed. This works. Access granted... Plug and play; plus service related software setup of course.

EASY, QUICK CARD READER. As soon as connected it detected certificates on card and was able to login without any issues. Recommend for commercial or government type PCs.

Product was plug and play and worked as expected.
