Large Rat Traps That Kill Instantly, 2 x Strong Squirrel Trap for Outdoors

Brilliant things. Have now caught several rats. Ignore the negative reviews by people don't know what they are doing. There is a reason why there are holes in the traps that are big enough for screws - they are meant to be screwed down. When the mechanism snaps, the trap will fly up unless screwed down. I haven't personally screwed mine but I made sure they were wedged against the wall. My method for using them: place against a wall where the rats run, use something to wedge it that is taller than the trap - this stops large rats from just stealing the bait from the side. I am using a brick. Use a sticky bait like peanut butter or chocolate spread - anything that can't be snatched and put it in the well.

I bought a pack of two of these to catch a crafty rat raiding my compost bin. The traps activated several times without success, but eventually I caught the perisher. The rat however was not in the trap but close by, I suspect the trap arm hit the rat, as it was moving away, likely startled by the trap activating.. however mission accomplished

I bought a 2 pack of these as we had rats in our garden eating bird food from the bird table. We read the instructions correctly and placed bate into the section, we used peanut butter. Chocolate spread, cheese. The setting the trap was quite easy to do just a click which was quite resistant, however we assumed it would kill the rat out right as I do not want them to suffer. Anyway we set the traps over a 3 week period, the rats got the food off of the trap without it going off, we had cameras set up to watch and we had 3 regular rats visit. Terrorising my rabbits, the traps went off but not once did they ever catch a rat. I was very disappointed in this product and would not recommend. We got poison in the end. So these plastic traps are not worth the £8.99 I paid for the 2. They were quite lightweight and looked quite good quality however the job they were bought for failed. So value for money is a no go. Save your money either buy poison in a sealed unit which is safe against other animals. Or call pest control.

It only just catches on the "latch" and is very sensitive, (good and bad) . It is tricky to place the trap once set

I have used these traps several times. They are very effective and have immediate success. The quality is good and price is very good. I have tried Bait Boxes which were not very efficient. Also you do not need to use poison with these traps so are not running the risk of harming/poisoning other wildlife. These Traps last a long time. I would definitely recommend them. Ensure you Follow the instructions.

After watching the video put on by another reviewer where the rat approached the trap from the side and although the trap sprung, the rat escaped. We placed ours sideways against a wall and wedged it in with a large brick. The rat then had to approach the trap from the front. We caught our first one within a very short time. We caught one adult and two young and assume the the other rat left home! One died in the trap the other two took a while but the traps worked so thanks to a viewer's video we are rat free at the moment.

Very good trap, caught our little visitors (x3) within 15 mins! I am not sure of its "humane" tag, however it is very powerful and sensitive enough to make the action swift. You just need someone who is happy to empty them...

Habíamos visto en el campo alguna que otra y decidimos decantarnos por la trampa de toda la vida. La compramos un poco con dudas porque muchos comentarios eran bastante negativos diciendo que si habia venido rota o que no servía de mucho. En nuestro caso con mantequilla de cacahuete como indicaba la etiqueta, la probamos y siempre que la ponemos cae alguna. Tenemos 2 y si no es en una en la otra aparece alguna al día siguiente. Seguramente compremos más, por el precio que tiene merece la pena, es muy fácil de usar y el bote de mantequilla sirve para muchisimas veces y es muy económico. En cuanto al tamaño del animal, atrapa de tamaño medio, que son las que hemos visto por aquí, no sé en tamaños mayores como irá pero para algo normal funciona perfectamente.

Zweimal hab ich die Falle nicht gut aufgestellt,hat zwar ausgelöst aber war nix drin,dann nach dem dritten versuch hab ich endlich glück gehabt und eine Ratte ist drin gewesen. Ich muss dazu sagen ich hab die Falle zur Wand hin aufgestellt und die anderen beiden male nicht deswegen hat es das dritte mal geklappt ,nun hab ich die Falle wieder scharf gestellt mal sehen ob wieder eine rein tappt. Aber sonst Funktioniert alles wunderbar auch mit dem auslösen klappt es gut ,die Vicher sind halt nicht komplett verblödet aber trotzdem klappt es 👍🏻
