Hohner Blues Harp Harmonica, Key of D

I had read a lot of mixed reviews on this harmonica so I was not sure what to expect. I was surprised that I really like the sound, it was easy to bend, I like the wood comb and the overall feel of the harmonica. This one just felt better than my Marine Band, but I would say the Special 20 is still my favorite. I think you can’t go wrong with the German made Hohner’s they don’t make toys.

I like having harps in every major key in case my standby G harp cannot back me up on a song. It took a few weeks to come, but worth it. Sounds great. Every hole works. Gotta suck in & out upon arrival to ensure no damage to reeds unless you have billows type device that checks this for you. The Price is actually a few dollars less than local music stores.

Usually these are embossed with the key marking. This one is missing that marking??? Otherwise a great harp, what else can I say?

The sound on this harp is perfect. Sounds very close to what bob dylan used. I am very happy and getting more of them soon.

Good price on a good harmonica.

I received my D Harmonica in an original box further sealed within a plastic bag. The box was crisp, new and unopened. I knew the quality of the Hohner harp inside was intact. It received well within the time I expected it. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again and again.

I purchased this as a gift and it was very well received.

I just got into harmonicas and this one really has a wonderful deep tone and is very easy to bend notes. I like playing it with my guitar tuned to drop D tuning to make it feel a lot bluesier and rich. Hohner all the way!

It’s a good harmonica it might need to be adjusted

Conoscevo già questa tradizionale armonica della Hohner, in quanto usata molti anni fa. Ho deciso di ricomprarla. Devo dire che avevo paura che non fosse la medesima Blues Harp mitica, invece, anche se esiste un cambiamento, non influente, devo dire che si tratta del medesimo strumento. Ottimo suono e risposta delle linguelle. Come scritto anche nelle istruzioni, è da preferire esclusivamente se si suona Blues perché l'hanno creata per questo. Il suo suono è quindi particolarmente caratteristico. Il cambiamento che ho notato: l'indicazione della tonalità è stampata al lato destro laterale, mentre nelle originali dell'epoca era incisa nel metallo della calotta superiore dalla parte destra. Rapporto qualità prezzo. Può andare, anche se per chi era abituato alla lira, la troverà oggi più cara che non solamente per l'aumento del caro vita. Ma questo vale per tutto in generale purtroppo. Comunque resta una spesa che soddisfa e, con l'astuccio rigido in plastica elegante, per questo gioiello, è la ciliegina sulla torta. Confezione identica a quella pubblicata. Grazie Amazon.
