This pen/marker is perfect for my journaling!

You can take your pen with you where ever you go and write any time you wish in calligraphy! I love the easy to work with pen with two different size tips and you don’t have to take out all that other stuff to get to write. You just pop off the lid and draw! I am working on my calligraphy and most of the time it turns out beautiful! But like I said I’m not a professional, not yet anyways! I believe this pen will be a great aid in achieving that goal!

Great pen for learning calligraphy and mess free-marker over the traditional fountain calligraphy pens. Gave 4 stars because the ink is a little dry. Great practice pen and easy to use.

Love the 5mm straight-chiseled tip, which is getting hard to find. This tip is of excellent quality too. It holds its shape! If used slowly, it will lay down smoothly on the better handmade cotton papers too. The thin tip is nice too, and also maintains its line dimension. Being a 5mm tip pen with a narrow barrel, I doubt the pen will last very long on the cotton paper I use. You might want to consider having a 2nd pen in queue if you expect to use it a lot, especially on cotton paper. Overall, the pen is great for calligraphy and drawing.

This is a good general use product. The ink flows well and seems to be darkly pigmented. I have gotten a good amount of use for the ink provided. The nib sizes are good for most average projects. I have been doing and teaching calligraphy for 40 years and have used many products. I would use this for scrapbooks or other things that do not require print ready production. I ordered two for projects that I have coming up. On one, the thin tip was rough and even with trimming with a razor blade could only be encouraged to perform. It split and divided the ink. The wide tip was without major issues. My issue with this marker is that the tip material does not respond well to much movement. It doesn't keep the same inking ability across a long stroke and seems to bind up against the paper a bit. I have tried it on multiple paper types and found that it just seems to hang a bit. I taught high school art for many years. This is the type of product I would buy for some of my students. Will I buy it again? No. I will use up what I have. It just doesn't have the quality that I like for my work. There is a name brand competitor that has a much better tip, but they don't sell their product in only black. I have to buy a whole set of the colors to get the black one. I am still searching for another product that will give me a smooth stroke and even coverage.

The ink got over so damn quick. Tho its amazing for beginners, the ink got over in just two days of writing a couple of times. Very disappointed on that front.
