How many approximate cleanings can I expect from this? Yes I know the size of the filter matters. Thanks for any info :)

Filter has endless cleanings... will outlast the vehicle. Used on my previous vehicle over 140,000 miles and still being used by new owner over 11months at 100 miles per day. Cleaned every 9 to 12 months for over 10 years and no signs of wear. Purchased three service kits in all the years.

what is the difference between 99-5000 and 99-5050?

The answer to this question is that the 99-5000 has an aresol can for the filter oil where the 99-5050 filter oil is in a non-pressurized squeeze bottle.

Is there any reason besides personal preference that you shouldn't put the oil into a small squirt bottle?

Small squirt bottle might work, but would be harder to control. But haven't tried it, so really don't know. Must be a faster way.

A neighbor's cat fell into my used oil pan. Can I use this product to clean the cat?

Use Simple Green. Wear rubber gloves. Gently massage into fur with fingers. Let sit for 15 minutes. Repeat if necessary.
