Perfect soundbar for smaller TVs.
I wanted a soundbar for my 32" TV, but the first one I bought was too big and looked out of place, despite sounding good. It's quite hard to find smaller soundbars, but the Majority Atlas fits the bill. It looks great and despite being comparatively cheap, it sounds good too. I like the fact it is rechargeable and if your TV has Bluetooth, you don't even need to connect any wires at all! It does also have AUX (line in) for a 3.5mm connection. It's a pity there is no optical audio input connection. If your TV has no headphone jack (3.5mm output) or Bluetooth, the only way you could connect this speaker is by buying a Digital to Analogue Converter (DAC), which converts the optical audio's digital output to an analogue input. However, these can be expensive and not without problems. I already had a DAC and tried it with this and it worked fine. However, I could not control the volume with my TV remote with that setup and had to use the volume dial on the speaker. But over Bluetooth, the TV remote will allow volume control. So it's important to check your connectivity options before buying. Overall, I think this is a great sounding, affordable little soundbar, that is perfect for small TVs.

Top notch
Very good sound and the sound control is just what I want. Excellent for the price.

Unbelievable value and great sounding portable speaker. You just can’t go wrong with this.
I’ve had this for a couple of weeks and used it most days to give this a fair review. Sound - in my opinion the most important aspect of a speaker. It doesn’t matter if it’s a tenner or a grand, if it sounds rubbish then it’s not worth anything. Despite being incredibly good value this is decent sounding and certainly sounds better than it’s price bracket. Sound quality definitely ramps up with volume and to start with I was little unimpressed at low volume. However after about a week of running in, the speakers obviously started to warm up and the whole sound became much richer. The bass livened up and the top end levelled out making the sound over all much warmer. Where this speaker, in my opinion anyway, really excels is at higher volume. It’s insanely powerful for something so discreet. You could easily have this in front of your TV and it would blow the socks off the TVs own speakers. At less than half volume it’s amply loud enough to fill a room and the bass really starts to become prominent. Basically it’s great as a computer speaker, which it’s marketed as, but imho it’s equally if not better suited as a budget TV soundbar. Obviously it will never have the bass clarity of a 2.1 system - for that I’d absolutely recommend their K2 system (which I’m listening to to as I write this this) which is equally incredible value and again punches well above it’s price weight. Wireless sub, HDMI ARC input among others- unbelievable value. I’ve given this four stars for sound quality because it’s almost as good as you’ll get for a speaker of this size and definitely is at this price. Design - it looks smart, really smart. It’s clearly well made and had a good solid weight to it. The materials are high quality and everything has obviously been designed well. The buttons have a great solid click to them and I really like that the volume is a single dial with a nice resistance to it rather than vol up / down buttons. It’s much more responsive and you benefit from turning the volume up gradually as opposed to turning it on and trying to remember what volume you left it at. I love the fact it’s all black, it’s discreet and fits in really well with a minimalistic setup. The inputs and technical info is all in the description so I don’t need to go through it all but it’s perfectly adequate for pretty much any setup. Love the fact that it can be used completely standalone as well if you have your music on an SD card or USB stick. If you just want to stick it in the garden for a party and forget about it then most Bluetooth speakers obviously need to be near the phone or iPad etc - this can be completely standalone which is a great option. Regarding battery, I used it all day while working and it didn’t run out so that’s a big plus for me. Price - I’ve left this until last because it’s the shortest section. Just insane value. That’s pretty much it. I actually don’t know how Majority sell something this decent at this price. At just over 20 quid it’s the highest quality speaker at this price point I’ve ever heard and would hold up against speakers far more expensive. Basically, for a decent sounding, portable, rechargeable, versatile and potentially completely standalone speaker you just can’t go wrong with this one. Majority are definitely a brand to watch.

For the price, a brilliant soundbar!
I have a computer hooked up to my TV and my TV has an awful set of built-in speakers, very tinny and until recently, I was using a cheap Trust soundbar that plugged in via the headphones jack. Unfortunately, a recent update of Windows has stopped me from increasing the volume above 35 and I have tried everything to resolve this but everything has failed. I decided, it's best to get a Bluetooth speaker instead. I saw this one on a Black Friday sale and the reviews seemed good, so I purchased it. I'm really happy I did. The soundbar is super easy to set up and even after turning on my computer, It connects automatically once I turn the speaker on. I personally feel the sound quality is not top notch, but for the price, it's certainly very clear and much better than my TV's speakers. Overall, I'm happy with the performance and the quality of the soundbar unit. It uses a built-in rechargeable battery and so far hasn't needed a recharge, although I've only been using it infrequently for two days. It's great that there is a light above the charging port that turns off once the unit is fully charged. My only niggle is that, it would be nice if that light is on the front or top somewhere, because it's a bit of a pain turning the unit around to check if the battery has finished charging. Anyhow, great little speaker, I would highly recommend.

It’s understated good looks and sound quality
I never had any preconceived ideas about this soundbar. I brought it because I could hook it up to my iPhone as the sound is rather low and tinny. I can say this is rather a good looking item. It’s all black look hides it very well it’s definitely worth the money as the sound quality for something as cheap as this is brilliantly it works well with talking on the phone and playing music or listening to the radio. It’s easy to set up. The only thing I don’t like is the Chinese voice that tells you when it’s connected or disconnected, this for me is impossible to understand as it isn’t clear. There is no remote as it’s easy to do with the phone or the 4 buttons on top. The first button is for switching on to telephone or though as a call is made or recorded it automatic reverts to talk. You have then the back button then the forward button and mode button. The front knob is for on and off, this must be done manually but the rest are done by your smartphone if you don’t want to get up and do it by hand. If your looking to buy a soundbar and don’t want to go high end this is the item for you. It’s sound and classy good looks shouts but me, and I recommend that you should

Really nice. I have it under my monitor just to listen to podcasts, youtube etc, but it's working really nicely for music as well. Could very well bring it to a party and use it for decent audio.

I'm so confused by the reviews of this product. I usually trust Amazon reviews when it comes to speakers, and this has served me really well for my Anker speakers I bought many years ago. When turning on this soundbar however, it all went terribly wrong: 1. I can't stand speakers with bad start up sounds - and this one is no exception. The irony of Atlas building product for the purpose of sharing high-quality sound, to then feature a crackly recording of a woman saying "bluetooth connected" boggles the mind. 2. The sound quality is not good. If you've heard music through good quality headphones or speakers before, you'll be sorely disappointed. It's tinny, empty and no better than laptop speakers or phone speakers. I actually bought these for my TV, and the TV speakers are better. 3. I dare say they sound better when not sat in front of them, which defeats the purpose of making this a soundbar for a TV. I totally appreciate the price is competitive, and "you get what you pay for" mentality. But I've bought speakers at this price before (Anker) that knock Atlas out of the park. I don't think you have to spend a lot of money to get a decent sound quality, but not here folks.

Recomendable 4200
