This was an excellent price for an adjustable height tripod which I use 3 times a week for a few hours at a time.I've used it for about 6 weeks so I'm not sure how long it will last - sturdiness-wise. I use it to put my laptop on when I'm teaching on Zoom for dance classes. I'm not sure I'd trust it if I had other people in the room who might knock it but I am the only one in the room when I use it.I've attached my phone to the gooseneck and that seems sturdy but I don't leave my phone on it. It is there for a backup to connect to Zoom if my computer failed.It would be useful to have a tray to put my cordless mouse on as I use that to operate my laptop although I'm not sure if the unit is sturdy enough. I suspect it may wobble if I was leaning on it with a mouse.Now that I know I love using the tripod I might invest in a more expensive, sturdier one for the future but this is perfectly adequate for the time being and is very easy to dismantle and assemble/carry. I leave the tray section attached to the top pole and carry that separate to the bottom two poles which I put in the travel bag.

It's a tad rickety and flimsy with my laptop on it, but it's so light and small, I couldn't care less!The material seems exceptionally strong, though it doesn't handle weight very well. It took literally 60 seconds to put together, and I can see using this for ANYTHING!I could not be happier now that I can get rid of the old, wobbly wooden tray table I had been using.

I've been using this for two weeks now. I use to prop my laptop on to play workout videos. I've also been using the phone holder too to video for myself while my computer is on and in use. It does the job well for what I need and from my searching online, I couldn't find any other product like this. And this is exactly what I was looking for. I like that it has two features (it can prop and hold your laptop plus it has a phone holder) and the stand's height can be adjusted from tall to short (short for if you're needing to sit down next to it). If you're doing any demonstrations online/ zoom (like as a teacher) or filming yourself while following along to something on the computer, this is perfect.I would definitely give this product 5 stars except for the minor cons I encountered..Cons.. I had to order this twice (returned the first set and got a replacement) because the first box didn't come with all the parts (screws missing, a part of the phone holder missing). But the replacement came right away and the right box of parts came. (This was an inconvenience but for products mass produced like this.. I guess I understand that there can be errors.) With the second box, the only complaint is the phone holder. The screw and the bolt didn't fit well so it left it wobbly while on the stand. I didn't want to return it (again!) so I just DIY fixed it by slipping a tiny piece of index paper between the screw and bolt to allow it to stand in its place without the wobble. Not 100% but that fix did it enough for me to keep and use as needed.

I really like this stand. I returned the last one I bought of a different brand because it wasn’t tall enough. This one exceeds my expectations of height and quality and the bonus. Is it hold your cell phone too! I use it every week teaching a class and the projector I can get it up to the right height. I can also lower it for putting papers on it while I’m teaching, if folds up easily, it’s portable compact for the most part so I’m really happy with it and I’m glad I returned the other one that I was not happy with

Nice wide base for great stability, but this is not a bulletproof stand. The clamps that keep the vertical section together are made of plastic, and so I am not sure how long they'll hold up.My largest complaint about this device, however, is the tray that is to hold your laptop. First, the tray is screwed to the support column with pan-head screws. That means they are raised above the surface of the tray! So unless your laptop has feet, it will not sit flat on this tray. The manufacturer provides a foam pad that you can place in the tray to soften the impact of the pan-head screws, but I am concerned that this foam will block the cooling vents on the underside of my laptop. I don't understand why the manufacturer could not have used countersunk screws for a flat surface.Second, the tray has raised edges! This is presumably to keep your laptop from sliding off the tray, but it also means that these raised sides impact the power, headphone, and USB devices I plug into the laptop! I am afraid that if the weight of the laptop is impressed upon these connectors by the raised edges of this tray, the connectors will fail. I will try to unscrew the tray and flip it over, so that the raised edges face down instead of up.Unfortunately, I would not buy this product again.

I have used this stand to hold many items smaller than the size of a TrapperKeeper without any issues! Great product! If my spouse would give me some money I’d buy another one; to use for holding stuff and to make her displeased with me! Dual purpose!

I conduct in home presentations at least 10x’s per week. Sometimes homeowners don’t have a table where we can sit and I can make my presentation. Often times they are more comfortable on the couch or they just might not have furniture available.This is perfect to grab out of my vehicle and setup so that I can use my iPad to present from. It’s also sturdy enough for me to use as a desk or podium while at home. I even set it up along side my bed so I can jump on my iPad in the middle of the night or first thing in the morning to check email or my calendar.Perfect! Wish I had purchased it months ago.
