Can i use this to mount a synology rs820+? i am looking for an alternative to "synology rail kit sliding rks-02", which you can see on amazon.
Will these rails cause the mounted device to sit higher, intruding into the next rack Unit? I have to skip 1U before.

Do not use for multiple/stacked 1U servers configuration

These do not work well in a 1U configuration. When pushing the server back, it gets stuck on the lip of the rails above it. You could push the units above it upward, but obviously from such an awkward angle that's only feasible if there's nothing weighing down those slots. So you have to take out every server above it to get the lower server stacked in, which is not practical for production/datacenter use. They should probably only have the lower holding tab on the front part, not the back as it will block servers if cabinet is medium sized. I have great regret of buying several of these, I wasted lots of money on these.Massive pain to install, too. LOTS of trial/error to find the correct position.Does seem to be built sturdily though. The crossbracers are optional (and don't work at all if another server is underneath, though in that case aren't super necessary). The cable management rail is optional, also (I did not use due to airflow concerns).

Assembly is a pain and blocks airflow

I got this to support a Cisco SG350X-48P which was sagging in the rack. I have other sliding/adjustable shelves which had rails already assembled so I thought this wold be great. These rails were all screwed together upon arrival and then you have to take it apart, figure out the depth you need and then trial and error your way to the right amount of extension/contraction distance by choosing different screw holes. I must have reassembled each rail set five times before it worked. Sometimes the rail had enough room to slide in the slot but it hit one of the stationary screws so I'd have to take the screws out and relocate them. Instead of having slots all the way down for the piece that allows the other two parts to overlap, which would have made more sense, there are segmented slots with stops which prevent extension of more than maybe two inches before having to remove and reset the screws in different holes. Next I realized that the rails completely block the fan ports on the side of the Cisco switch. I ended up turning one of the rails upside down on the side with the fans. Good thing I had an open rack space below to be able to do that. But any 1U piece of equipment which has exhaust/intake on the side of the chassis will have inhibited airflow using these rails. With a server or POE switch that's a a chance I'm not willing to take. Definitely would not recommend or buy this again.
