Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Dish Scrubbers, 18 Pack

My Mom used Dobie Pads when I was a kid and I have used Dobie Pads all my life. Their standards have never wavered and they are still hands-down the best. I get them in all the different colors and all have worked great... ...except for now. For almost the past year, I have been going crazy from having these greener clean dish scrubbers flatten after a few uses and become unable to hold a lather. They are dye-free, glue-free, and, after cutting one open, I found they are also sponge-free!!! There's a piece of schmata in there!!! They start out nice and fluffy and quickly become is useless!!! BEWARE THE GREENER CLEAN VERSION OF THE DOBIE PAD!!! (I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS.) As always, the ORIGINAL and MULTI-COLOR versions are OUTSTANDING!!! The quality has not diminished over the years and they are the only thing that we enjoy using in our house. They are perfect!!! Nothing compares to the original version!!!

These seem to clean just as well and last longer than the original Dobie pads, which I have used for decades. These recycled ones seem more durable. I think I will stick with these, especially since they are made of 100% recycled plastic. That's a win-win in my book

I usually buy the standard yellow but I’m all for trying to be more Eco friendly so I tried these. They’re a lot thicker than the normal ones at start but shrink over time. Overall this is the only brand of dish sponge I use because it does a great job & feels more hygienic. As long you rinse, squeeze the water out and store in a dry place when not in use it doesn’t stink. That’s a pet peeve of mine so if that’s your concern I highly recommend this product. It also cleans well without scratching. Best dish sponge!

I support companies trying to make things "greener" but I'm not loving these sponges. We always use Dobie, so I thought great, these are cheaper. But they break down and don't bounce back. Going to go back to regular Dobie. I'm not sure how "green" these are anyway as they're still contained by a plastic net.

I chose these because I liked the fact that they're made from recycled plastic. A token effort to using less new plastic. I also wanted to see if the durability would be better than the classic style. But the material used in them is really weird... Yes, they absorb water and soap, yes, their scrubbing ability is great. But at first the sponge (or whatever it is in the middle) was super bulky (much more so than the original style) and then after a day or so, one end went kinda flat, almost like the inside material shifted and rucked up one end, and then after about a week of use the whole thing went flat. It's been a couple of weeks now, and it's started getting some little holes in it. But so,far not fallen a part like the classic ones. We'll see how they last.

This lasts longer than the natural scrubber sponge I prefer, but I wish the natural sponge was still available.

This scrubbing pads don’t work as the originals. The sponge inside doesn’t absorb enough water to make the soap foam. The scrubbing plastic is resistant but without foam is like your washing with only water. What a waste of money, now I cannot return them bc I waited to try several of them to make sure none worked. Very disappointed!!

These Scotch-Brite Greener Clean Scrubbers Non-Scratch Scrub Sponge, 18 Count, Natural are just about worthless. As they are supposed to be earth-friendly for some reason, I thought I would go ahead and choose this option. We have used the regular yellow colored Scotch-Brite Scrub Sponges (ordered by the box) from Amazon forever and have always been pleased with them, so I mistakenly assumed the "greener" ones would be as good. Wrong!! They are flimsier in hand, have less sponge material, and the "scratchy" outer layer of the scrubber is wussy. As a result, using them in the same manner as the others, these ones wear out in about the half the time or less. Definitely not worth it. Sorry, not recommended. Hope this helps you!
