Really Nice Torque Wrench Set For Bike Maintenance
I purchased the Pro Bike Tool 1/4 Inch Drive 2-20 Nm Click Torque Wrench Set to use to work on my MBT. Iโve used it to replace my crank set, stem & handlebars. I know this is going to get a ton of use out of this set,!just performing regular maintenance on my bike. The set comes w/a certificate of calibration. I do not have any way to verify this other than comparing it to a Park Tool ATD-1.2. This I did & it was a close match up to 6Nm (the ATD-1.2โs max). The case feels well made, closes & clasps securely. The bits, extension & wrench snaps into the case securely as well. I like that all the bits I need to work on my bike are here, Hex bits 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 & 10, Torx bits 10, 25 & 30. The 100mm extension should come in handy as well. The ratchet measure torque while tightening & loosening. This is important when working on threaded bottom brackets (some drive sides tighten counter clockwise). When using the wrench, the โclickโ is pretty soft. It can be felt, but could be missed if youโre wearing work gloves. As the torque setting is set higher, the โclickโ is more noticeable (feel & sound). Be sure to test at lower settings to get a feel for the โclickโ. The only thing I wish was different, is the markings & scale on the wrench. The picture makes it appear itโs thickly printed or painted black. It is not, itโs engraved & gray color. Maybe I have old eyes, but I find it a bit tough to clearly see the scale. As long as I angle it correctly in the light, I can see it clearly. For the price & quality of construction, I feel this is a good investment. If anything changes or if I learn anything new about this tool as I use it, Iโll try to remember to update my review. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.

Perfect set for DIY bike maintenance!
I love this set. I haven't encountered a job it didn't work for yet. Good quality parts, good weight to the wrench itself, and easy and straightforward to adjust. Check the Youtube video for first-time calibration steps as well. Also I would recommend getting the Plata Mate finish/color. I previously had the Plata Mate, but lost the set somehow and replaced it with the black one. And while it's easy to read the settings, it is super slick and leaves fingerprints all over it. Plus, although the black one's settings are easy to read, reading the adjustments was never a problem for me with the Plata Mate. The black one (and silver too I believe) is so slick, it actually takes noticeably more effort to adjust torque settings. The texture of the Plata Mate makes it much easier to grip, so I'd definitely recommend that to anyone unsure about which one to get. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. Great set.

As a first time user, the learning curve was quite short
Since I did not already have a torque wrench, I am not comparing this to other torque wrenches, but rather to my previous strategy "estimate torque by the amount of pressure at a given lever length with my right arm." So one foot pound is one pound of pressure at one foot of leverage, or two pounds of pressure at 6" of leverage, etc. Of course, the metric system does not calibrate itself to feet and pounds, as you no doubt know, but little bolts get hand pressure, while big bolts get arm pressure, and huge bolts get more pressure than body weight with big lever arms. This is a little torque wrench, for "hand and arm" pressure. I still need to apply the same pressure, but there is a "spring-loaded" "click" when I reach the point that the wrench is set to. As the instructions point out, you can learn what to expect by setting the torque very low, near the bottom of the range, which is quite easy to exceed with gentle hand pressure. Also, if you haven't used caliper tools, you may be surprised that the adjustment (activated by pulling down/up on a collar around the shaft), moves up and down in a screwing motion, with the smallest increments marked around the circumference, and the larger increments marked longitudinally along the shaft. So you get it close, then dial in the detail by rotating part of a single rotation. In practice, bike bolts are all set to major increments, not minor ones. So in use, I discovered that my handlebar bolts were close, but some were not tightened to the full torque specified, an d I was able to easily adjust this by first setting the torque to "5", feeling the torque all the way around the set of 4 bolts, then increasing it to the specified "6" and tightening each one a bit further. So I am impressed. It is a quality tool, coming with a handwritten certification of calibration so I don't have to recalibrate (since I don't have another torque wrench), and I was able to get assurance of even torque at the proper tightness that neither has unnecessary flex nor results in a stripped bolt (a particular concern with carbon fiber parts. Of course, the first bolts I tightened while familiarizing myself with the tool were steel in aluminum, not steel in carbon :-)!) No point in raising the stakes unnecessarily! Also I liked the provided variety of heads and the small extension bar. While I have these already, it means I keep the torque wrench dedicated for torque, and use my other wrenches for everything else, so that the torque wrench stays in adjustment, as it should.

Good tool
This torque wrench is easy to use and feels well built right out of the box. The click is clear without being harsh, even at lower torque settings, which makes it confidence-inspiring for bike work where precision actually matters. It comes in a solid case with a good selection of common hex and Torx bits, so youโre not immediately hunting for extras. Everything fits neatly back into the case, which makes it easy to keep organized. I went with the steel version and found the scale much easier to read than some darker or coated tools. Adjustments are simple, the setting locks in place, and it does exactly what itโs supposed to do without overcomplicating things. Overall, itโs a practical, well-made tool that works well for regular bike maintenance and sensitive components where accurate torque matters.

Seems like the quality is solid!
As an amateur with a bicycle, I wasn't sure what to expect with this torque wrench. I didn't want to overspend and get a professional tool, but I also wanted something that I could rely on for light bike maintenance. This really seems to have struck the perfect balance between price and quality. I have to take their word on whether it's to spec, but I appreciate that it came with a sheet that displayed their testing and tolerances. The initial setup was easy, and the click for the torque is also easy to recognize. If you've never used a torque wrench, the brand put out a video on YouTube that walks you through it. It's been years since I used one, so I found it helpful.

Affordable must have bike tool
Use this on my mountain bike. It Works great to tighten brakes, stem other small parts to torque spec. Nice that it shows both in-lbs and nm measurements for ease of use. Can clearly feel the click when reaching the desired torque. Carrying case is sturdy and the bits secure into place well. Also, cheaper than some of the other wrenches, which nice to save a few bucks.

High Quality, Taiwanese-made
Recommend Matte (Plata Mate) over Silver since itโs easier to read the scale, see my photos. Made-in-Taiwan like comparable quality torque wrenches (Leviton, Tekton, etc.). Case is compact with a metal latch and has all the bitโs you need. Adjusts nicely with a pull-down collet, rather than the common screw-to-loosen style. Each 0.1 Nm clicks into place. Only features 2-20 Nm scale, there is no in-lb on the other side.

Not blue but just as good
You first need to know that I don't think I've ever written a product review before, but I felt compelled to here. I'll admit - I tend to use a certain incredibly overpriced tool brand with vibrant blue-colored branding. If I'm going to spend obscene amounts of money on an unfathomably high-tech road/off-road machine, I want to do my best to use high quality tools that will do right by my bikes. I have been nothing but impressed with Pro Bike Tool products, and this torque wrench is no exception. The case is neat and compact. The wrench had clearly been appropriately oiled. It was calibrated by a real human being, who handwrote his (in my case) results on an included slip of paper. The only thing I might change is to follow the "ongoing usage" instructions before the "initial set up" instructions - the former told you to adjust the wrench from 2 to 6 Nm, but didn't say HOW - whereas the "ongoing usage" instructions actually told you what to hold and what to spin to adjust the wrench. I have good eyes, but someone with less excellent vision might have some trouble seeing the small numbers on the wrench shaft. I have not owned it long enough yet to assess durability. For reliable, high quality tools for 60% of the price (or less) of the blue brand, I can't recommend these enough.

Great tool set
Accurate tool. I have two carbon bikes and I was always worried about making damage with too much torque when fixing something on the bike. Now not anymoreโฆ

I like it! Nice case, good range of tool bits. Easy to set torque required. Works as expected.
Only had a few weeks, GREAT little kit. Comes with torque certificate. Wish it went lower than 2lb, but there you go. Nice case, good selection of โbitsโ & very easy to set torque required.
