A Must‑Have Healing Ointment — My Sister Swears by It
My sister uses the ointment all the time, and it has been amazing for her skin. It’s super versatile — great for dry, cracked skin, minor cuts, burns, and even as a daily moisturizer for rough areas. The formula is thick, soothing, and creates a protective barrier that actually helps the skin heal instead of just sitting on top. The big 14‑ounce jar lasts a long time, which makes it a great value, especially if you use it regularly. It’s gentle, effective, and works on pretty much everything. My sister has had great results with it, and it’s become one of those products she always keeps on hand. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars — reliable, healing, and perfect for anyone who needs a heavy‑duty moisturizer that actually works.

The best for really dry skin
Best out there. If you really have dry skin and you don’t want something to take care of it only for a few minutes. This will take care of it until you shower the next time. It is greasy, but it’s the best. It’s excellent for burns. I bought this for my second-degree burn from my motorcycle and it’s the only thing that’s been gentle and kept them moisture on so that my brain could heal. I can’t have anything with any type of fragrance because it impedes the healing. Eucerin is what I have used before for burns and that works really well too.

Excellent
I cannot recommend this healing ointment enough! It is a true multi-purpose product that works wonders on chapped lips, dry hands, cracked heels, and minor cuts or scrapes. Unlike regular petroleum jelly, it deeply moisturizes and helps skin heal much faster without feeling overly greasy. It is fragrance-free, gentle on sensitive skin, and a little goes a long way. This is a must-have staple in every household!

Miracle Healer
I’ve been using Aquaphor since my son’s were babies, they’re 23 and 25 and we still use it. My grand daughter uses it on her baby dolls hair lol This stuff is literally magic lol it helps heal wounds, it’s great for dry skin and I also apply it to my lips for moisture. The best of it all is, I purchased it at a great price

Luv it, Use it
You know, I try to be environmental, so I do my best to minimize my use of hydrocarbons whenever possible, but sometimes they are necessary. Take Aquaphor as an example. Aquaphor (who are we kidding, it's petroleum jelly - and probably Vaseline's main competitor), is a brilliant occlusive ointment and it is at times the only thing that truly resolves painfully dry/chapped skin. I also use Shea Butter which is super thick and super moisturizing, but for all its fabulousness, it simply is not as good as Aquaphor when you are in a dire situation. Aquaphor is a must for dry chapped skin and wound healing. And as a bonus, it probably has a half-life of like, a million years, hahaha. Who could ask for more?

This is vasoline
I did not realize that this was basically vasoline. So applying it is like putting vasoline on your body. I mix it with lotion to make it a little less like vasoline. It helps with crepy skin. Not completely but some.

Great for lymphadema skin
Out of everything, all the lotions and even salves, I like this product best. It's ultra expensive for what's in it, but all petroleum products are these days. The ingredients don't seem like they'd add up to much, but for some reason, this stuff clears up the kind of lymph wounds you don't talk about. It's the only thing that works on mine. I've tried many things. Many, many other things. This is the only one that works for that particular problem. It also is great for moisturizing very dry skin, but it's a bit too expensive for full body daily use. Great news: it's not yellow so it doesn't color your skin yellow. It's opaque, and not hampered by color. All ingredients are pure. (I tried to rewrite that better, but did not succeed.)

The One-Stop Fix for All Your Skin Woes!
Aquaphor Healing Ointment is like the Swiss Army knife of skincare—it does everything. Dry lips? Fixed. Cracked hands? Soothed. Random mysterious dry patch? Gone. This stuff is a lifesaver, especially during the colder months when my skin decides to rebel. The texture is rich and thick, but it absorbs surprisingly well, leaving your skin soft without feeling like an oil slick. A little goes a long way, so the 14 oz tub lasts forever (seriously, it feels bottomless). It’s perfect for everything from post-shaving irritation to keeping tattoos moisturized, and it even doubles as a lip balm in a pinch. Downside? The tub can be a little messy, and if you’re not into thicker ointments, it might feel too heavy for daytime use. Also, it’s not scented, which is a pro for sensitive skin but might be a con if you prefer fragranced products. Overall, this is a holy grail product for anyone dealing with dry, irritated, or sensitive skin. Affordable, versatile, and ridiculously effective—it’s a must-have for every household. 4.9/5
