Draper 43785 Storm Force 20V 1/2" Mid-Torque Impact Wrench (400Nm) with 1x 4Ah Battery and Charger

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this tool with no greater expectation than being able to zip off some wheel nuts but found myself using this for every possible job going.I had to change the brake pads and discs as well as the suspension damper and top mount. It handled every single job I threw at it.Firstly, is it 400nm breakaway? Probably not, in the same sense my car clocks go up to 160mph and you'd never get that even if you pushed it off a cliff. What it does do? With ease: wheel nuts torqued at 110nm. Suspension knuckle joints torqued at 90nm and held on with 15 years of rust (as shown) and brake calliper mounting bracket held on with locktite and rust.It broke the ruse off a suspension top mount and allowed me to use just a spanner. In short, this tool is by far one of the best I've had and for your weekend warrior, it's the best value for money. For sure, if you use a product day in and out then Snap-On or DeWalt is a better shout but for the oddjob, this is perfect.

Having never owned an impact wrench before, I opted for a Draper product as all their tools that I've own have proved to be excellent quality with superb durability and performance; I wasn't sure what to expect, but yesterday was the first time I really got to use it in anger. All I can say is that this wrench exceeded all my expectations; the wrench did everything that I asked from it. Wheel nuts, no problem; strut top bolts, no problem; seized and rusted suspension nuts and bolts, no problem. The battery never seemed to lose power and lasted the whole day without any loss of performance. If you want something for your home garage, then this a great tool, and I have no qualms about giving it 5 stars.

Nice and strong good quality but not as powerful as I hoped wouldn't remove wheel nuts and had a terrible burning smell with lots of sparks so returned it and bought a sealy one

I bought this with high hopes, but I was so disappointed. Very weak, wouldn't undo my wheel nuts without loosening first with a bar. I would definitely not recommend this product.

Well made bit of kit.Absolute must for anybody who likes doing most their vehicle maintenance at home.

Wouldn't look at an axle nut torqued to 130nm. Don't know if its quality control related but the tool they supplied to me was not fit for purpose. I have read other reviews and watched video of this impact wrench working. In my experience it is useless.
