It meets what I expect of it. as far as fire protection in a home setting ,and it is of a manageable size for the average home owner. The price was a large factor in comparison to some of the brand name safes that we looked at and the burn time was more than most that we considered It doesn't require a large space in a room ,or wall space to house.
