I wear a 32/30. Should I get the medium short?

I am a 36W x 32L. I bought a large and it was too big. I reordered a medium and that was a good fit event with long underwear. I think the medium is too big for 32/30.

what is the length of the inseam on the large tall pants?

For both Medium and Large waist the TALL length is a 34" inseam. if you put a TALL version in your cart you will see that the product description changes and will include "34" and "tall".(Short = 30 and Regular = 32)
