This phone is amazing. I love the size of actual phone. The camera. The screen size. Everything. I have always had Huawei phones. So stayed with that. But was really pleased with this phone. So far every aspect of the phone had either met or gone beyond my expectations. Very pleased and thr phones are excellent quality

lovely screen, vibrant accurate colour, auto screen brightness works beautifully and means battery lasts much better than expected. I'm not a gamer but think others would love it for that. Dex works well. Good frame rate on video. samsung notes transcribes accurately with s pen even with my clumsy use! I don't use bixby and have locked down permissions a lot and am delighted with the ability to have permissions enabled for an app only when I am actively using it. but all my apps working fine.The cameras are fantastic with wonderful accurate rendition except that personally I am not to fond of the smoothing algorithm used when camera detects a face - I feel it can make skin look a bit plastic - though other have been delighted with the results when I've shown them the images - they think it makes them look younger!Rendition of landscapes and other types of image are frankly gorgeous. I'm especially pleased with the video - historically never used it much, but with this phone I managed to get some remarkable ( for me ) footage of a moorhen building a nest.sound is fantastic on speaker and the supplied wired earbuds have better than expected quality for private use on a train etc.WiFi and Bluetooth work well, downloads are fast and streaming is great.I have one minor niggle which is that the fingerprint scanner is a bit slow/pernickety but I'd rather that the phone is more secure than not.Upgrading android to latest version worked like a dream as did the transfer of the sim and all my apps and data from my elderly 7 edge. Remember to update all apps on the old phone before transferring to new phone, and don't forget to uninstall and reinstall WhatsApp on the new phone before restoring your WhatsApp backup. Phone initially felt a bit big after the edge, but it sits comfortably in my hand and the large screen is a joy. the new Samsung one UI is great and works seamlessly on top of latest android. All in all love this phone.I bought the grey Samsung Clearview case to go with the phone, it's smart and protective and handles well.

I bought new, directly from Amazon on sale for £599. I was coming from a Pixel 4 xl, which has been brilliant and Ive since bought a Oneplus 8 pro and pixel 5 but returned them as they werent as good as the 4xl. So why change? Well I love photography and wanted a solid ultrawide camera and a decent overall experience.The Note 20 has great cameras, I would say better than my Pixel. DXOmark also gave it a great overall camera score (actually higher than the note 20 ultra for camera) The video is really good too, 8k at 24fps, but 4k 60 is faultless. It is fast for Exynos chip, and the battey life is good. Over 6 hours screen on time. Loving the S pen, and One ui 3 is good.(Not google good though) The plastic back caused controversy, but actually looks really nice. The screen is 60hz but very vibrant and clear, I prefer this display than the higher resolution Pixel, and I cant really tell the difference between 90hz and 60hz. Both are buttery.Negatives: hardly any, but maybe the sound isnt as good as my 4xl (less bass) and although the screen is readable in bright light it could do with being a bit brighter. The fingerprint reader is just ok, not always unlocking for me.Conclusion. I wouldnt pay £800, but around the six hundred mark, you are getting a solid performer with 256gb RAM, s pen and a really great camera. Im keeping it, well until Google get their act together again and make a bigger premium phone.

I've never had a phone with a fingerprint reader before, but it's beautiful. Absolutely responsive, big beautiful screen, and such an amazing camera. I'm very pleased with it.

Perfect phone!Finding the battery life is draining quite quickly so far but, this could be as its the first day I've had the phone and insgalling/updating apps and software maybe taken a toll.Other than this it's literally Perfect. And the seller Smiley Electronics was amazing! Estimated it would arrive at the end of the week and received it sooner.

This is the best phone i have ever had. I thought it might have been too big but it's a good size and still fits in my pocket. The camera takes amazing photos. No negatives on this phone
